Text deletion from NARSAD

[edit]

Hello! You've deleted quite a big chunk of text from NARSAD, but there seems to be nothing wrong in the text. The info on sponsorship and leaders of the organisation seems highly relevant. Maybe the deletion should be discussed first at the discussion section of NARSAD article? Cheers, --CopperKettle (talk) 21:00, 9 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Well, I re-read the deleted text.. Maybe it could be reworked and some unsourced claims deleted, but I'd discuss first, or else someone will barge in and start revert war. ----CopperKettle (talk) 22:03, 9 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Narsad - I noticed you recently removed information from the NARSAD article about its current president. As CopperKettle points out above, it's best to discuss removal of content from an article on its associated talk page, or at least provide an edit summary stating explaining your edit. Continued removal of referenced, factual content from articles without explanation could be considered vandalism. Also, if (as your username might suggest) you are associated with NARSAD, you may want to take a look at Wikipedia's conflict of interest policy. -Zefryl (talk) 05:40, 13 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I am associated with NARSAD, and have been deleting certain information that is incorrect. The information regarding the president of this organization is no longer true, nor is the information regarding how NARSAD is funded. Narsad (talk) 14:18, 16 December 2008 (UTC)NARSAD[reply]

Can you point us to somewhere that gives the correct information rather than simply deleting? Aleta Sing 20:43, 18 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
