Use of talk pages

[edit]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. I am glad to see that you are discussing a topic. However, as a general rule, talk pages such as Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Biography are for discussion related to policy, not general discussion about the topic or unrelated topics. If you have specific questions about certain topics, consider visiting our reference desk and asking them there.

I reverted this edit about Kanhaiya Kumar because it did not suggest how to improve the encyclopedia. If you think the article fails to give a WP:Neutral point of view, please raise it first on the talk page of that article, Talk:Kanhaiya Kumar. If you are not satisfied with the outcome after a few days, visit the reference desk to see where you could draw more editors' attention to the problem.

I hope this does not discourage you from contributing again. – Fayenatic London 20:23, 4 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
