Welcome!

Hello, N0+4dM1nFJ, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as Notadmin, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines, and may soon be deleted.

There's a page about creating articles you may want to read called Your first article. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type helpme on this page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Questions or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! ConcernedVancouverite (talk) 20:52, 12 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Notadmin requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion," which appears inside of the speedy deletion () tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. [edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, you are reminded not to attack other editors. Please comment on the contributions and not the contributors. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. You are welcome to rephrase your comment as a civil criticism of the article. Thank you. Based upon this edit: [1] ConcernedVancouverite (talk) 21:00, 12 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I don't really see what I did wrong that is extensive. Sure, i mentioned 4chan on the sandbox but is that not allowed? please reconsider, i have a lot to contribute to the computer programming areas of wikipedia (i have extensive knowledge). please reconsider.

Decline reason:

We've already got plenty of vandals; don't want more. --jpgordon::==( o ) 14:09, 13 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the unblock template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

ok, ok, jpgordon, i understand there are lots of vandals on wikipedia. i am NOT one. i am not some punk 15 year old loser who loves 4chan and wants to just irritate everybody. i have a job. i have a website. i had just made my first wikipedia account and was screwing around in the SANDBOX which is for testing things. i did not harmfully alter any legitimate page. people do stuff like i did in the sandbox all the time. all the changes i made on "real" wikipedia articles were legitimate. i did not "vandalize" anything except for the sandbox, which last time i checked, happens quite often. i assure you i will never "vandalize" a "real" page. ever. i dont do that kind of crap. Decline reason:

I probably didn't need to put this on hold, as it only took me a few seconds to find this obvious example of useless, trolling editing. You may not be an admin, but anyone reviewing your unblock request is and we can all see the article you created about how great you are despite the fact that it was deleted. And what do you call this edit? Why were you even aware of a userpage for an account that made three edits in 2009, and why did you feel the need to mess with another user's page? In case you hadn't figured it out yet, Wikipedia is a bit tired of immature foolishness that spills over here from 4chan. Whether you are 15 or 45, you show all the hallmarks of being one of those users. This obviously insincere apology says more about you than any of your statements in your unblock requests.

This unblock request has been declined due to your history of vandalism and/or disruption to this encyclopedia. However, we are willing to give you another chance provided that you can earn back the trust of the Wikipedia community. To be unblocked you need to demonstrate that you are willing and able to contribute positively to Wikipedia. You can do this by:

  1. Click the Edit tab at the top of that article;
  2. Copy the portion of the prose from that article that you will be proposing changes to. However:
     • do not copy the "infobox" from the start of the article (i.e., markup like this: ...);
     • do not copy any image placement code (i.e., markup like this: );
     • do not copy the page's categories from the bottom of the page (i.e., markup like this: );
     • do not copy the stub tag (if there) from the bottom of the page (i.e., markup like this: Foo stub);
  3. Click edit at your talk page, and paste at the bottom under a new section header (like this: == Article title ==) the copied content but do not save yet;
  4. Place your cursor in the edit summary box and paste there an edit summary in the following form which specifies the name of the article you copied from and links to it (this is required for mandatory copyright attribution): "Copied content from exact Name of Article; see that article's history for attribution."
  5. You can now save the page. However, if your edits will include citations to reliable sources (which they should), place at the end of the prose you copied this template reflist-talk and then save.
  • Now, edit that content to propose significant and well researched improvements by editing the selected portion of the article. Please note that we are not looking for basic typo corrections, or small unreferenced additions; your edits should be substantial, and reflect relevant policies.
  • When you are done with your work, re-request unblocking and an administrator will review your proposed edits.
    • If we (including the original blocking admin) are convinced that your proposed edits will improve Wikipedia as an encyclopedia, you will be unblocked.

If you need help while working with your proposed edits, you may add "your question here ~~~~" to your talk page. Thank you.Beeblebrox (talk) 01:56, 16 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, you created a live article called Notadmin where you expressed your love for hacking and 4chan. It was not in a sandbox, it was in a live article on Wikipedia. You might want to rethink your unblock statement accordingly. (talk→ BWilkins ←track) 21:16, 14 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Explain your contributions, then. Whatever's not vandalism or low-grade trolling is an apparent attempt to pad your edit count to bypass semi-protection. —Jeremy v^_^v Components:V S M 21:55, 14 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
