The article TINKLECOMM Wireless has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. Re your message: I deleted the article because by the time I came across it, no additional edits had been done to it for over an hour and the content of the article was still nearly empty. You are welcome to recreate it, but please see the guidelines for notability of companies about the requirements for inclusion on Wikipedia. I checked around a bit and Google found no reference to "Tinklecomm" or "Everway Wireless", so your claims about this company are a bit dubious. However, if you can cite reliable sources for the existence and notability of this company, you are welcome to rewrite the article. Re your message: Unfortunately, articles on Wikipedia require verifiability, so if you can not provide a reliable and verifiable source for your information, it's likely that it will get deleted again. As for when articles on Wikipedia are "finished", it's true that articles are never "finished" per se, but there is an expectation that an article reach a certain point and have a certain minimal amount of content. Re your message: Wikipedia is an all volunteer effort, so somebody has to be interested in creating the article for your request to be fulfilled. Like I said, I don't know anything about her or her genre of music, so I would probably do a fairly poor job at creating the article. All right, I just did a google search on 'telekinkle mail'. I didn't get any results. I'm not requested it be deleted because of the content, I'm requesting it be deleted because of its' unnotability. AT&T Wireless LLC[edit]

I am going to suggest that the current AT&T Mobility redirect page become the true Wikipedia article for AT&T Mobility LLC. AT&T Wireless LLC has nothing of factual or trade name pertinence to AT&T Mobility, since AT&T Wireless has been defunct since 2004, and AT&T Mobility is not advertising itself as AT&T Wireless. Re your message: You left messages for the editor who tagged the article for deletion, not the administrator who did the actual deletion. I did look at the deleted revisions of the article and I agree with the deletion decision. The company fails to meet the requirements for notability. With the company being of such small size, it's just not notable enough for inclusion on Wikipedia at this time. Perhaps in the future when it expands, but not currently. Re your message: The problem is not one of the article meeting formatting standards, but it meeting notability standards. I do not believe that the company/web site meets the notability requirements as I told you before. Furthermore, the listed web site does not exist, I can not find any record of "TINKLECOMM" (just like we discussed when you created the "TINKLECOMM Wireless" article), and I find it difficult to believe that a web mail company that is supposed to compete with the large web mail companies would be run from a free web mail hosting company (ZZN). All of these factors make me question if the company/website really exists as claimed. Do you need help?[edit]

Muriness, it seems that you have some confusion about some of the tools and procedures on Wikipedia. If you would like some advice on how to re-make the articles on TINKLECOMM Wireless and TINKLECOMM Mail so that they would not be immediate deletion candidates, I would be happy to help with it. A few tips for you that may help:

  • Assume Good Faith - People don't, for the most part, go around deleting pages for no reason. It is done, primarily, as a way to improve Wikipedia, not an attack on the article.
  • Perfection is not required - Your article does not have to be perfect, but it has to be something with content and needs to give a reason that another person looking at it will recognise for being in Wikipedia.
  • You will want to discuss things on the appropriate page. Talk pages, deletion review, etc.
  • No personal attacks - Stay away from attacking a person. A policy is ok. Content, fine. An editor, bad idea. Example:
    • This policy is stupid because... (Ok. No one is hurt by this.)
    • The content here is untrue/illogical/unfounded because... (Good. You can't achieve consensus if you don't discuss the issues.)
    • Slavlin is an idiot because... (This is bad. The person might actually be an idiot, but Wikipedia is about content, not the editors.)
Always make sure that you respond to anything you don't understand or like, but make sure to do it in the right forum and with respect toward the POV that the other person may have.

Ok, the first thing you want to do is, if it is going to take a while to create the page you want, do it in a WP:SANDBOX instead of on in the main userspace. You can create a sandbox for yourself just by creating a link to it, maybe on your main userpage, then clicking on it to create it. Here is an example for you. User:Muriness/Tinklecomm Just click on that link and you can start working on it. Put in the stuff that you think should be in there and let me know when you want me to look at it. I will try to give you some pointers. Once it is ready, you can use the Move tab to move it into the main area and not have to worry about it getting nominated for deletion in the meantime.Slavlin 22:18, 18 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I looked and, while I think you information is good, it still sounds a little like advertising. Here are a couple of questions I would like to see answered in the article. Remember, they have to be answered with facts, not opinions.
  • Why is this a significant company?
  • What makes them different or innovative?
  • Why is this not just a prediction?

Well, it still reads like an advertisement right now. It gives the features and everything execpt the prices for the products. The difference that you added is good, but there needs to be something that makes them notable as a company. Have there been articles on them? Have they done something first or something no one else has done? What makes them important enough that you take the time to write an article? For example, my great grandfather was a significant influence in my life and is notable to me, but there is no special significance to people outside of my friends and family that has been noted by reliable sources. Check out the information on organizations that I linked above. It should help you see what kind of criteria it needs to meet. Then you need to be able to show it meets those criteria. Muriness, I have been trying to help you with this as my time allows, but you don't seem to be making much of an effort here. I am thinking that you would benefit from participating with some other articles first. That might give you more of a feel for how the process needs to work. Also, I think you need to get a better feel for the software. Probably spend some time reading on Wikipedia:Introduction as well. Talk pages are pretty basic but you don't seem to be using them properly either. That is what is giving me the feeling that you don't have a good feel for the tools available. The Wikipedia:Non-free content guidelines are not as straight forward as you'd expect them to be. A good way to look at it is "Wikipedia fair use guidelines are more restrictive than fair use law." Non-free images without proper fair use rationales are subject to deletion. Images not used to directly supplement articles in the mainspace are subject to deletion. In other words, images in User: space that do not have fair use rationales are subject to deletion for more than one reason. rationale[edit]

Muriness, the tag that you have uploaded is acceptable, however in addition to the template, you must provide a written explanation of WHY you think the image applies as Fair Use. You must do this for EVERY page that it is included in. Also, note that since it is a Fair Use image, you will not be able to use it in your user space. You can do it right underneath the template. Right after you put the template, type: "I believe that this image qualifies as fair use in the article (ARTICLE NAME) because (REASONS)."
Then just replace (ARTICLE NAME) with the name of the article that you intend to use it in, and replace (REASONS) with your fair use rationale. Remember, you have to do this once for every page you plan to include the logo on.
And sorry no, it absolutely positively cannot go in your user space, not even for a little bit. It can ONLY be used in the article, because that is the only place that it qualifies for the fair use rationale. SWATJester Denny Crane. 22:18, 9 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'm actually about to change mine, because I really don't like it anymore.

The best thing you can do is find someone who has a page design that you like, and then copy it, changing the usernames to reflect yourself. For instance, if you were to copy Slavlin's user page, you would edit it and change it so that every time it says Slavlin, you change it to Muriness. Fair use rationale for Image:Newatalatlogo.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Newatalatlogo.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

About the articals you create[edit]

Dude you create great articals they have depth and give allot of information, some of the best articals stubs ive seen......but what you have a problem is is what you write about. Since theres like 455947593475943759347985739457943574375943759437589437598437895374957943 wikipedia users most notable subjects have already been covered. Also r ember that just because you are on wikipedia doesn't mean you have to create an artical. God ive only made a small list as the artical i created. I actualy do not know how to make userboxes but User:Hayden120 should be able to help you out. Also you could go to Wikipedia:Userboxes and go to gallery to give you a huge list. Start by making a page for your userbox, but still attached to your account. You do this by creating a page with your user page name, a slash, then the name of your userbox, eg. 'User:Muriness/MyUserbox'. Then, edit this page. There are a variety of options to choose from, but here is some simple code you can copy to get started:
{{userbox| Red| White| [[Image:Crystal package favourite.png|40px]]| This is a simple [[Wikipedia:Userboxes|Userbox]]}}
You can see you have a choice of two colours, an image, the size of the image (40px in this sample), and the caption in the Userbox at the end. You can also Wikilink text within this caption; as an example, 'Userbox' is Wikilinked.
Once this is complete, just copy the name of your userbox, 'User:Muriness/MyUserbox', with two curly brackets at both ends; {{User:Muriness/MyUserbox}} and put the code where you want it. It will then turn out like this:

Did you copy the code straight from the page? Do not go into edit mode, just copy what you can see. Just put that into a page; User:Muriness/MyUserbox will do for now. Then edit the code I gave you for what you want. Then put {{User:Muriness/MyUserbox}} onto your user page. It's a lot easier than it looks!
