Transcription/Pronunciation

Hello, Ms. Black Gold.

I'm currently working at a series of articles about Chicago in the Russian Wikipedia. I need to be sure about correct pronunciation of a word wacker in the title 311 South Wacker Drive. The Russian variant sb gave in the ruwiki coincides with the pronunciation of walker which I bet is incorrect. Is there any way to know it for sure? Have you read a single line of the discussions about this? Find reliable sources, or your contributions don't stay in the article! It's that simple. And no-one is committing "vandalism".

I reverted back to the sourced version. Prove me wrong and find reliable sources to back up your claims, and keep the article on topic. BillMasen (talk) 07:35, 6 July 2010 (UTC)

By the way... I don't know what the dispute on this article is about nor do I care what it's about, but it is very clear that your positions are contested by a number of editors. You should take this block as further confirmation that your repeated reverts to this article (and this seems to be a pattern that extends back before July) are disruptive and unacceptable, and, as such, will lead to another, longer block if you continue them after this one expries. -- tariqabjotu 15:40, 7 July 2010 (UTC)

Your first action after that block was to continue the edit-warring, whereupon you were blocked for a week and advised that continuing on that path would result in longer blocks. After several months of inactivity, you returned to do precisely the same thing, edit warring over the reversion of your change.
