Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added to the page Hearing aid do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used as a platform for advertising or promotion, and doing so is contrary to the goals of this project. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. CliffC (talk) 20:25, 14 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Miracle-Ear. While objective prose about beliefs, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not intended to be a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Thank you. CliffC (talk) 18:49, 21 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

There is no promotional material in that copy CliffC. What on there was advertising? Can you be more specific before you change the whole page? Everything on that page was true. No Hyperbole or soapboxing, just facts about the company and its products. Miracle-Ear IS one of the largest hearing aid retailers, they DO have warranties on all their products, they ARE known for their invisible hearing aids. What in particular do you have a problem with? We are currently adjusting the copy to include more sources and references (that aren't from Miracle-Ear of course). We will put up a new page when it's finished later today. We would appreciate suggestions before it goes up rather than you undoing the entire page. Thank you.
Please follow the blue links on this page, especially WP:PROMOTION, to understand why that sort of peacocky advertising language {"...free personalized programming, cleaning, and adjustments...") does not belong in an encyclopedia. You also removed, without explanation, a paragraph about rebranding. It's best to make small exits and explain what you are doing in the edit summary so they can be discussed individually.
Who is "we"? --CliffC (talk) 16:30, 22 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

"We" is not as sinister as you probably suspect. It's me and the other person I had take a crack at it after you edited me the first time. We'll do as you advised. Thank you for your scrupulous instruction sir.
