Bogus warning

Hello, I noticed you posted a bogus warning to User talk:99.129.228.207. In it, you insisted that s/he needs to create an account to edit Wikipedia further. You also suggest that "further vandalism" will be punished by blocking and "losing access to Wikipedia altogether". The latter is not technically possible and never imposed as a sanction. The former is unlikely; most of this editor's edits seem constructive, and while s/he has a lot of warnings on the talk page, many of them are stale or minor. So please in the future do not threaten users with strange things. Thank you. Elizium23 (talk) 16:16, 30 July 2013 (UTC)

I did not 'command' them (User talk:99.129.228.207) to make an account. On Wikipedia, after making multiple edits, you are encouraged but not REQUIRED to make an account. (Also said on his/her talk page). It's nice to keep track of a user's edits and be able to contact them. The user also had multiple final warnings. I don't take any type of vandalism to Wikipedia lightly. They've even deleted whole pages and added incorrect info to said pages. Two or three other users also made "bogus last warning" crap on his/her page so I suggest you tell them off too. MrScorch6200 (talk) 18:23, 30 July 2013 (UTC)
P.S. The "latter" is technically possible, but not imposed as a sanction, that's bad on my part.

Teahouse host

Hi MrScorch, thanks for your interest in being a Teahouse host. I'm glad to know you're willing to offer your time in this way. However, because your account is only four days old and you have not yet developed a strong editing history, I'm going to ask that you continue to edit productively for a few months before deciding to host. That way, we can be sure that you know how to interact with other editors in a civil manner and will know how to help or otherwise guide editors with their concerns and questions. In the meantime, you are always welcome to come to the Teahouse to ask questions. Thanks, I, Jethrobot drop me a line (note: not a bot!) 19:37, 30 July 2013 (UTC)
