Response & Question to Nomination of Michael M. Conti for deletion[edit]

I have updated Michael M. Conti for additional evidence of notability based upon my understanding of providing a meaningful contribution. This is not an attempt to make an autobiography but provide a historical record of public-facing work that can be further edited. Here are my questions: Should I add new articles for the films that I am referring to first? Based upon what I have currently provided, should I remove and sandbox my biography, and ask someone else to edit and publish it to avoid conflict of interest? I appreciate the level of seriousness that is taken here and want to follow the best procedure. Mmconti (talk) 17:09, 31 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I would not recommend creating articles about the films as it does not appear that they meet Wikipedia's inclusion criteria yet. Wikipedia usually recommends not writing about oneself or one's own work, because if the subjects are truly notable someone else will eventually write about them. While it is possible to submit such conflict-of-interest articles for review here, it is necessary to demonstrate notability (a term with a very arcane meaning here on Wikipedia). Since the deletion discussion is already ongoing, it's not necessary to sandbox the article. You are welcome to partake in the discussion – the thing being discussed is whether it can be shown that significant coverage in multiple, independent, reliable sources exists. – Thjarkur (talk) 18:08, 31 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
