Welcome to Wikipedia. Your contributions are welcomed, however, one or more of the external links you added in this edit to Zooplankton do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thanks. Tuvok[T@lk/Improve] 22:42, 12 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did in this edit to Biological hydrogen production (Algae). Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Thanks. Tuvok[T@lk/Improve] 22:42, 12 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add inappropriate external links, as you did with this edit to Glow plate. If you continue to do so, you will be blocked from editing. Tuvok[T@lk/Improve] 22:42, 12 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This is your last warning. You will be blocked from editing the next time you add inappropriate external links, as you did with this edit to Bacterioplankton. Tuvok[T@lk/Improve] 22:43, 12 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 24 hours in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for spamming links to external sites. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make constructive contributions. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below. - Philippe | Talk 22:51, 12 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Spam

[edit]

I noticed you have gone through a number of pages on wikipedia and added a link to some photobioreactor website which is under creation. I'm not sure what your purpose is, but I would advice against spamming. Thanks. --Popoi (talk) 23:17, 12 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Chlamydomonas. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. A Softer Answer (talk) 00:30, 10 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for uploading Image:Asp1.pdf. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|CC-by-sa-3.0|GFDL}} (to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by STBotI. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 19:23, 11 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

If you have a close connection to some of the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred from the tone of the edit and the proximity of the editor to the subject, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:

  1. editing articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with;
  2. participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors;
  3. linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam);
    and you must always:
  4. avoid breaching relevant policies and guidelines, especially neutral point of view, verifiability, and autobiography.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have conflict of interest, please see Wikipedia:Business' FAQ. For more details about what constitutes a conflict of interest, please see Wikipedia:Conflict of Interest. Thank you. SpencerT♦C 20:36, 7 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Cyanobacteria. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. --EncycloPetey (talk) 16:36, 1 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
