Hi Mike,

Please help me understand your edits to the Philip Kubicki Factor Bass article. The contents were dictated to me by Phil himself in 2012 before he was ill and then died of pancreatic cancer 2 years ago. Here are my questions:

1. I don't understand why all notable players were removed . Can you tell me why and if there is some verification you are looking for?

2. I don't understand why the photo of the bridge tuner on the Factor Bass was considered spurious. This was an original photo owned by Philip Kubicki, LLC of the bridge tuner described in the patents section. It is the defining feature of the Factor Bass and provided an important visual addition to the article.

3. Why was this sentence removed:

"Custom electric guitars were also produced including the Louisville Slugger guitar made for John Fogerty and custom instruments for Jimmy Messina, of Loggins and Messina."

If you look in the article on John Fogerty you will see this under Musical Equipment:

"During his mid-80s solo career Fogerty used Kubicki custom-made guitars including 'Slugger', his baseball-bat-shaped instrument used live on "Centerfield", a Telecaster copy with Stratocaster-type middle pickup and humbucker in the bridge position, and a Stratocaster copy fitted with two Fender Telecaster Deluxe humbuckers."

Wouldn't a link to this article be a better solution than deleting it?

I appreciate the effort to keep Wikipedia as accurate as possible but I don't see why any of these items should have been removed. There is nothing untrue or inaccurate in the article. I will be happy to add any citations you are looking for but believe the article was as concise and accurate as possible as it was written.
