Please stop. If you continue removing Articles for deletion notices or comments from articles and Articles for deletion pages, as you did with Michael Szporer, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. --GoodDamon 01:02, 6 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Additional note: If you yourself are Michael Szporer, it is highly recommended that you do not create articles about or contribute to articles about you, as there is an inherent conflict of interest. --GoodDamon 01:41, 6 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for File:Annawalentynowicz.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Annawalentynowicz.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 23:06, 25 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I took the picture. You have no copyright problem according to US copyright law.----

[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Pdobriansky.Awalentynowicz.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright and licensing status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log.

You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. JohnHWiki talk - 23:34, 25 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited American Polish Advisory Council, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Bill Burton (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Information icon Thank you for your contributions. Please mark your edits, such as your recent edits to Jan Karski, as "minor" only if they are minor edits. In accordance with Help:Minor edit, a minor edit is one that the editor believes requires no review and could never be the subject of a dispute. Minor edits consist of things such as typographical corrections, formatting changes or rearrangement of text without modification of content. Additionally, the reversion of clear-cut vandalism and test edits may be labeled "minor". Thank you. — Malik Shabazz Talk/Stalk 02:46, 9 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Malik

Please note that all I have done is replaced incorrect information restoring well-documented information that someone replaced without citing sources and providing incorrect information. Note that wiki commons has archival information with the deceased person's [Jan Karski's ] hand giving the date of birth --primary source, which I posted. Moreover the two articles in Polish cited notes explain the problem with the birthdate controversy. Finally the executor of the estate Pawel Zalewski is no longer alive and the rights to the deceased legacy are with his closest relatives. Jan Karski's family, niece and goddaughter Wieslawa Kozielewska Trzaska cited in my version gives the correct birthdate and she has legal rights over decisions involving her famous uncle. If you would like to receive a letter from her legal counsel about this issue, please let me know where it ought to be sent. It shall be done. Note that in addition to the sources cited, two official biographers Thomas Wood and Waldemar Piasecki use the date I cited as Jan Kozielewski's nom de guerre Jan Karski's birth date. I don't know what I ought to do to correct this error. Note that similar confusion occurred in the Polish version of wiki and after edit changes back and forth, they were persuaded by the articles cited that the correct version was the one I included. I appeal this decision to a higher editor. This is a a serious error since this year is the karski centennial and your wiki error is creating much confusion. mieciousa

Malik, Please keep the birthday as June 24 since this is Saint John's Day, and not April 24, which reflects an error on Jan Karski's nee Kozielewski's birth certificate. Otherwise wise the bio makes no sense. Importantly, all handwritten documents by Jan Karski nee Kozielewski including his official diplomatic dossier at the League of Nations [the precursor of UN] reflect this date, with official documents. It is also the date that the family and its legal counsel uses. Primary source documents that are numerous reflect this date. The birth certificate error has a story attached to it; even he during his life time made a joke of it. That date and all subsequent documents based on it are incorrect. The Polish Wiki has restricted this content for the reason, and the two entries ought to be in sync. Otherwise there is no way to correct the inaccuracy. There is a tribute organization who simply sticks to the wrong date for their own private purpose [fundraising!] and that determine historical data. Simple fact is, there are plenty of documents hand-written by Jan Karski, including his official diplomatic resume, that have the June 24th date; there are no hand-written documents that support any other date. Primary sources are numerous and they have been uncovered recently. Hence there is no reason to perpetuate the error or support someone's financially driven plans. Malik, you have the family, the diplomatic dossier, and all hand-written documents by Jan Karski nee Kozielewski documents that support the June 24 [Saint John's Day] date. What else do you need?

Malik, I do not have a problem with the above, regarding Karski. I simply added St. John's link to confusion as to the date birth. If all agree that he was born on Saint John's Day then it could not be in April but in June. ----
