AfC submissions

[edit]

Hello. I have just declined your two submissions. Could I suggest you have a look at Wikipedia:Your first article to see the kind of thing that is expected. If you have any questions, let me know. Best wishes, Martin 22:43, 6 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I'm aware that I haven't answered your question yet. If you'd still like an answer I'll find the time to give a proper answer ;) Regards, Martin 22:42, 1 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome

Hi, Michaelob. This is NOT some automated message...it's from a real person. You can talk to me right now. Welcome to Wikipedia! I noticed you've just joined, and wanted to give you a few tips to get you started. If you have any questions, please talk to us. The tips below should help you to get started. Best of luck!  Chzz  ►  15:15, 20 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

ようこそ
  • You don't need to read anything - anybody can edit; just go to an article and edit it. Be Bold, but please don't put silly stuff in - it will be removed very quickly, and will annoy people.
  • Ask for help. Talk to us live, or edit this page, put {{helpme}} and describe what help you need. Someone will reply very quickly - usually within a few minutes.
  • Edit existing articles, before you make your own. Look at some subjects that you know about, and see if you can make them a bit better. For example, Wikipedia:Cleanup#2009.
  • When you're ready, read about Your first article. It should be about something well-known, and it will need references.

Good luck with editing; please drop me a line some time on my own talk page.

There's lots of information below. Once again, welcome to the fantastic world of Wikipedia!

Re. [x+1], now in User:Chzz/X+1

All articles must have "significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject" (per WP:N), and I was unable to locate any such sources for this article.

If you are able to find some, please let me know.  Chzz  ►  19:44, 5 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (File:Asterisk-Logo 3C.jpg)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Asterisk-Logo 3C.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hi there, I'm HasteurBot. I just wanted to let you know that Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Asterisk Financial Inc., a page you created, has not been edited in at least 180 days. The Articles for Creation space is not an indefinite storage location for content that is not appropriate for articlespace.

If your submission is not edited soon, it could be nominated for deletion. If you would like to attempt to save it, you will need to improve it.

You may request Userfication of the content if it meets requirements.

If the deletion has already occured, instructions on how you may be able to retrieve it are available at WP:REFUND/G13.

Thank you for your attention. HasteurBot (talk) 17:11, 20 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Michaelob. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "Asterisk Financial Inc.".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Asterisk Financial Inc.}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, click "Save", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. HasteurBot (talk) 17:01, 20 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
