Please refrain from adding information that is not supported by appropriate citations. Thanks! PhillyHarold (talk) 15:33, 15 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Herb is my father-in-law. Is there a problem with what I added? Michaeljohnsterling (talk) 15:36, 15 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I’ve added a citation from the Washington Post, published yesterday. Michaeljohnsterling (talk) 15:59, 15 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Please allow me to extended my deepest condolences on the loss of your father-in-law. He was a musical genius and admired by many of us high school stage band musicians in the mid 1970s. The original citation did not talk about the place of his death, but the citation you added from the Post is exactly what was needed. Thanks for adding it. Thank you for the kind words. It really means a lot to me and the family. Herb was an incredible guy, in every way. I’m a newbie to Wikipedia (editing) so I appreciate you flagging this. Thank you and take care. Michaeljohnsterling (talk) 21:30, 15 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Very sorry to hear of your loss, too. All of us are shocked and upset. Herb was not just an amazing thinker, but also incredibly generous with his time and loved to teach others. He will very much be missed by the community Alison talk 01:28, 16 December 2022 (UTC) (MichelleMK is a friend)[reply]
