Khwarizmi[edit]

Khwarimzi wrote in Arabic and Muḥammad ibn Mūsā al-Khwārizmī is a transliteration of his name in Arabic. It is therefore, despite him being a Persian, inappropriate to give his name in Farsi. —Ruud 16:55, 27 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
