Flags in football players' infoboxes[edit]

Hi. Please do not add flags to football players' infoboxes. This is against consensus here, see MOS:FLAG, especially the section MOS:FLAG#Use of flags for sportspersons. Please do also not add links to an article that point to exactly this article. --Jaellee (talk) 19:34, 16 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

December 2011[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Chan Wing Hoong, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you. --Jaellee (talk) 21:26, 16 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Chan Wing Hoong. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. --Jaellee (talk) 14:38, 18 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I'm afraid that you don't understand what I'm trying to say, but please have look at Wikipedia:WikiProject Football/Players. This is a model for a footballer's article. It contains no flags, no self links (which are not recommended) etc. If you persist in you edits, you may get blocked. --Jaellee (talk) 15:06, 18 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! It seems you recently created an unreferenced biography of a living person: Mohd Khairi Kiman. The community has decided that all new biographies of living persons must contain a reliable source that supports at least one statement made about the person in the article as per our verifiability policy. Please add references as soon as possible. Thanks! --LaraBot (talk) 00:10, 6 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Perak FA[edit]

Please stop adding back the huge list of former players to this article. The list is incredibly cumbersome and inherently unencyclopedic . Lists of former or famous players should be short and have a clear inclusion criteria. Beyond that to direct readers to a wider list only a link to the relevant perak fa players category is needed thank you. Fenix down (talk) 07:08, 26 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. I see you are still trying to add back a lot of the unreferenced lists and out of date information to this article. Lets deal with them and by one. Firstly the goalscorers listing is fully unreferenced and should have a source applied before being added back. Secondly the foreign players section is unnecessary. There is no inclusion criteria for this list whatsoever and hasn't been for three months since first tagged. Please address this before reverting. Thirdly the ranking information is nearly eighteen months out of date. This is not really of use to anyone. Please consider updating this before reverting so it shows the most recent rankings. I hope you can see from this that I have no issues with the sections of the article themselves but merely with their lack of references timing and lack of inclusion criteria. Perak FA Former Player[edit]

The article Perak FA Former Player has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

unsourced information, WP:NOTE

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. 93.96.7.94 (talk) 01:04, 21 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The article Khairul Azwan Harun has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this newly created biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one.--Michig (talk) 08:06, 18 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
