Copyright violations and non notable forced articles to be deleted[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! We welcome and appreciate your contributions, such as First Strike, but we regretfully cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from either web sites or printed material. This article appears to be a direct copy from firststrike.totalbf2.com. As a copyright violation, those pages appears to qualify for speedy deletion under the speedy deletion criteria. First Strike and the other weapon/event articles have been tagged for deletion, and may have been deleted by the time you see this message. If the source is a credible one, please consider rewriting the content and citing the source. However, the AFD process also reached unanimous concensus that the information was non-notable, so you may want to focus attention to Wookieepedia, which would be right up your alley!

If you believe that the article is not a copyright violation, or if you have permission from the copyright holder to release the content freely under the GFDL, you can comment to that effect on Talk:First Strike and the other pages. If the article has already been deleted, but you have a proper release, you can reenter the content at First Stike and the other pages, after describing the release on the talk page. However, you may want to consider rewriting the content in your own words. Thank you, and please feel free to continue contributing to Wikipedia. — Deckiller 20:56, 28 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Battlefield 2142 AFD Notice[edit]

Why did you remove the AFD notice from the top of Battlefront article? If you want to prevent the article being deleted, you need to head to the discussion about the AFD (by clicking the link) and making an argument to keep it. Removing the notice in future will lead to blocks. --Charlesknight 09:25, 28 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Senior Leaders Course[edit]

The article Senior Leaders Course has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done because the article seemed to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it did not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources.

Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and for specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. User:Zoe|(talk) 20:49, 21 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
