Help Needed[edit]

Hi, my name is Michael Parks and I am a student at FIU in Miami, Florida. My current college project involves me, and those who i find to help me, redo the "Bert Oliva" page. I was hoping that you could help because i see that you have helped out with Tony Robbins, and Bert Oliva is like the 'Latin' Tony Robbins...

Your edits in the Anthony Robbins article[edit]

I'm glad you're here and that you want to help with the Anthony Robbins article, but you should try to find a consensus on the talk page rather than just reverting my edits without explanation. Please review Wikipedia: Edit war, Wikipedia: Three-revert rule, and Wikipedia: Ownership of articles. It's also helpful if you include edit summaries when you make changes. Being bold when you edit is great, but when you disagree with another editor about an edit, it's usually better to discuss it on the talk page and get feedback from some of the other editors instead of just immediately reverting the edits you disagree with. Your edits to the Anthony Robbins seem to be from the perspective of a cheerleader or from someone who feels the need to defend the subject of the article. But just removing clearly cited criticism from an article just isn't appropriate. The article isn't taking sides with Randi; it's just relating what Randi said. Thanks for your reply on my talk page. I replied to your comments on the discussion page for the Anthony Robbins article on the talk page there, as it's probably more convenient to keep the discussion all in one place rather than carry on conversations on 3 talk page (mine, yours, and the article's.) I noticed you had added notes to our conversation under a 2nd username (Diblock318) on the talk page of the Anthony Robbins article, so I thought I might bring the article about sock puppetry to your attention. Your recent edits[edit]

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Weasel words[edit]

These can all have an article! Please go ahead and create or expand them. The trick when writing for wikipedia is to use WP:RS and avoid WP:OR. I am shrinking your bit on human needs psych in the Tony Robbins article, for reasons I will explain on the talk page. But here are some articles wiki could benefit from having. Try not to use your own notes or handouts you've been given, the reason being that those subjects won't have been written about by independent sources much as it's not something everyone attends.
