Hi Marshatbt! Thank you for this[1] addition to Religion in Germany. I've just noticed that you might have mixed up your sources, since the CBC article doesn't mention the Druze community in Germany. –Austronesier (talk) 17:10, 22 November 2021 (UTC)

@Austronesier: I changed the source. Thanks for the attention.Marsharbt (talk) 18:05, 22 November 2021 (UTC)

Thank you and a barnstar

The Christianity Barnstar
I wanted to express my dear appreciation of your inclusion of so much information on the Druze and their interactions with Christians. I saw you edit on Maronite Church and looked at your contributions, only to be astounded by the breadth of detail you were providing so quickly. Your edits have been remarkable and will contribute greatly to the English-language understanding of this complex topic! Thank you so much! ~ Pbritti (talk) 18:15, 23 November 2021 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for December 14

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Jonathan A. C. Brown, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Islamic civilization. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 05:58, 14 December 2021 (UTC)

Thanks for your linking work. Overlinking can be a problem on Wikipedia though, so you can also take a look at MOS:OVERLINK. Nebulousquasar (talk) 11:36, 15 January 2022 (UTC)

Adding Maronite cuisine to Levantine foods

Foods such as hummus, baklava, fattoush, etc. are popular among all communities in the Levant, Muslim, Christian, and Jewish. It isn't helpful to mention each individual community that consumes these dishes, unless there is some specific information about that community that is different from the broader category of Levantine Christians or of Levantines in general.

On the other hand, it is useful to mention that Christian communities in general (again, not just Maronites in particular) consume certain dishes for fast days because they contain no meat.

Also, please take a look at our policies about categorization. Since Category:Maronite cuisine is already a subcategory of Category:Levantine cuisine, if an article is already classified under Levantine, it should not be categorized under Maronite as well.

Welcome to Wikipedia! --Macrakis (talk) 18:44, 23 January 2022 (UTC)

Copying within Wikipedia requires attribution

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Circumcision controversy in early Christianity into History of circumcision. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. If you are the sole author of the prose that was copied, attribution is not required. — Diannaa (talk) 15:17, 4 January 2022 (UTC)

Again, on Model minority; copied from Copts. Please have a look at this edit summary as an example of how it is done. Copying without doing this is a violation of our licensing terms. Please leave a message on my talk page if you still don't understand what to do or why we have to do it. Thanks, — Diannaa (talk) 15:33, 15 February 2022 (UTC)

Pointless edits

Hello. Please could you stop making edits like this and this. They serve no purpose at all, and while you're not using a bot, this is the same behaviour that falls under WP:COSMETICBOT – i.e. you should not make series of edits that have no substantive change. Thanks, Number 57 19:24, 22 March 2022 (UTC)
