Feiten over Brussel
Groeten, Diemietrie 14:12, 3 January 2007 (UTC)
Hi, could you take a look at the display problem of the Infobox template on Loutrochori, Pella (this revision), and check if the non-display of the locator map might be related to your recent edits to the infobox code? Thanks, Fut.Perf. ☼ 18:04, 11 January 2007 (UTC)
- Yep, thanks, I was just going to say I figured it out. But by the way, are you certain we really want the functionality you introduced? If somebody provided a correct map image but failed to provide coordinates, why should the template not show the correct map? Fut.Perf. ☼ 18:19, 11 January 2007 (UTC)
- Ah, I understood only now that your version of the template actually creates the maps on the fly instead of using a stored one. Nifty. Fut.Perf. ☼ 18:22, 11 January 2007 (UTC)
- Well, come to think of it, probably you are quite right and it's a good idea. The coordinates aren't too difficult to find after all, and it's probably easier than creating and uploading a separate map for each village. Thanks again, Fut.Perf. ☼ 18:28, 11 January 2007 (UTC)
Brussels-Capital Region
Hi Markussep, I am independently doing the same work as you just started, and so far got results very similar to yours, making me feel good about process reproducibility. My search is a bit less restrictive, allowing names in addresses (as long as they are not street names, or appearing together with Brussel or Bruxelles) and taking somewhat larger samples. The only difference so far is a much closer call for Berchem-Ste-Agathe/St-Agatha-Berchem. I have now complete results for the first 9 municipalities. Would you mind if I added my results as a second line for each municipality in your table? LVan 15:08, 13 January 2007 (UTC)
the REAL name: Trentino-Alto Adige
So I did some research and checked with some pretty credible sources as to what they print, in ENGLISH, for the name of this region (and province) in Italy.
- Fodor's - a well recognized and respected name (and expert guide) has regional and local publications that show the region and local names of "Trentino-Alto Adige", "Alto Adige", and "Bolzano".
- Michelin - also expert in travel guides - has regional and local publications that show the region and local names of "Trentino-Alto Adige", "Alto Adige", and "Bozen".
- Rand McNally (name speaks for itself) has world, regional, and local publications that show the region and local names of "Trentino-Alto Adige", "Alto Adige", and "Bolzano".
- Streetwise Map's regional, and local publications show the region and local names of "Trentino-Alto Adige", "Alto Adige", and "Bolzano".
- Dorling Kindersley or "DK" - by far, probably the best travel guides available - has regional and local publications that show the region and local names of "Trentino-Alto Adige", "Alto Adige", and "Bolzano".
- Lonely Planet (the self-proclaimed largest independently-owned travel guide) regional, and local publications show the region and local names of "Trentino-Alto Adige", "Alto Adige", and "Bolzano".
- Hammond Map - a subsidiary of Langenscheidt Publishing Group (a privately-held German publishing company) - has regional and local publications that show the region and local names of "Trentino-Alto Adige", "Alto Adige", and "Bolzano".
As far as proof, I am quite sure that the above sources are credible enough, especially in the sense of geographical knowledge, expertise, and English-translation. Rarelibra 03:50, 14 January 2007 (UTC)
Edit
I do not appreciate the comments with me. It is well proven that only a few are involved in this (and I have also seen the repetitious names involved with other such articles). Thus, I have the right (and proof) to make such mentions. You are I are on the same approach - the article itself can stay as a historic reference but the province and region articles should comply with the official usage. So let's not you and I lock horns, please. Thanks. Rarelibra 15:00, 19 January 2007 (UTC)

Ades
Hey Markussep, interesting bit on the Alter Ades and Adesc Aut. I think either can be ok in "Ladin", and as you say, it is a broad language. As far as I know the Adige is Ades, so I'm a bit confused by the c at the end. I think either Alter Ades or Ades Aut is fine. I know of the usage of Ades Aut, Ades Bas (Adige High, Adige Low). Not sure the spelling on low.. anyway. I've put both now, the more the merrier. Taalo 23:43, 10 March 2007 (UTC)
- umm, i don't think i've made any changes on that (at least not on purpose) since you posted about the hoax. you need some coffee this monday morning?? :P Taalo 16:29, 12 March 2007 (UTC)
- yeah, last time i added it was three hours before you posted the info about the hoax. it did get reverted back incidentally with the little edit war with PhJ. like i said, i was going to commend you on your research. my point of contention is a bit with the ades and adesc.. but small stuff. it may be a difference between the language in trentino and the official ladin. no biggie.. motion to close mediation
hello there,
there was a mediation offer quite a while ago concerning the issue of Trentino-South Tyrol. I am happy to announce that the issue has been discussed, voted upon and settled. However the mediation offer still needs to be officially closed. Please take a minute to visit the page Wikipedia:Mediation Cabal/Cases/2006-10-20 Trentino-South Tyrol and put your signature at the bottom if you agree with the decision, thank you. sincerely Gryffindor 20:25, 17 March 2007 (UTC)
- A very important note. This mediation offer concerned the greater overall naming convention to use in this region, not just the name of the region itself. We came up with a very good compromise for the regional name itself. I for one am still looking forward for Lar to help us out. Taalo 21:33, 17 March 2007 (UTC)
Hi. Do you think it's time to split the page into multiple articles? Khoikhoi 21:11, 17 March 2007 (UTC)
- Done. I see the other language wikis have more info, I'll include that too. Markussep 16:05, 18 March 2007 (UTC)
- Great, thanks. Khoikhoi 18:58, 18 March 2007 (UTC)
Province of BZ
Markussep, didn't you once find an official gov't document that showed there was a motion to have the name of the province be Province of BZ - AA/ST (i.e. with area name appended), but it was rejected? On South Tyrol it shows Official in German: Autonome Provinz Bozen - Südtirol, based off the name shown on the provincial website. But if we write official I'd kind of like that to be really true, along the lines of what we've done with Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol. My hunch is that the official names in gov't documents are Autonome Provinz Bozen and Provincia Autonoma di Bolzano (or possibly Provincia Autonoma di Bolzano-Bozen). cheers, Taalo 00:01, 20 March 2007 (UTC)

Hello, Markus,
you started Bad Iburg last year, thank you so much. I added some information and the city box but do not know how to ad the map that already exists in de:WP. Do you manage to help, please? Freundliche Grüße --MrsMyer 16:04, 20 March 2007 (UTC)
- Thank you very much for your support. I just copied an infobox from of the other articles about places near Osnabrück. So I did'nt know there is a new one. Somehow I feel that information about what to do in en:WP is not easily to be found.
- Well, all new informations in Bad Iburg are a rough summary and translation from my first article I startet in de:WP about Schloss und Benediktinerabtei Iburg. Of course there is a lot of information about the city itself still missing in en:WP - but sometimes I'm simply missing the words and do not know how to translate precisely. And for the momment I'm busy with the de:writing competition for which I started an article about Heinrich Babender, a sculptor from [Münster]] (1475-1537), and his son Johann Brabender. Quite a challenge.
- By the way: Can you give an example how to link from en:WP to de.WP oder vice versa? I would like to link my en:Usertalk to my german one because I don't look here very often. Kindest regards, a lovely weekend --MrsMyer 12:16, 23 March 2007 (UTC)

Great work. No I have hardly touched geo articles since about October - I have worked immense;y on Films by country. E.g see List of Argentine films and List of French films etc and have been creating hundreds of film articles my most recent Joymati and Uttara (film). However I am the creator of WikiProject Tibet and WikiProject Actors and Filmmakers!!! I did complete setting up every village in SLovakia and was 1/3 the way through Hungary when I saw how vast a missing part of wikipedia film was and it kind of changed my wiki direction. When the lists and films becaome more complete i will then go back to concnetrating on geo articles which is where my true interest lies - yesterday I added some images to some Sardinian comunes.

Appropriate method
- Could you help me to find the appropriate method, please?
- And could you help everybody else that needs your help, please?
- The only thing I can see is that two days ago an editor started to destroy article titles against the previous consensus without any debate. (Line of declarations is hardly a debate...) Now he believes he is the consensus.
- So: Could you help me to find the appropriate method, please?
- --peyerk 13:54, 29 May 2007 (UTC)
- Could you help me to find the debate that led to the consensus over using Slovak names for counties of KoH?
- I only found the previous consensus over Hungarian names for KoH counties and Slovak names for historic and touristic regions.
- --peyerk 13:59, 29 May 2007 (UTC)
Hi, I realized that a huge mess was created with former Hungarian countries in Slovakia. User Svetovid moved these articles under Slovak names against the former consensus and now he claims that every article should remain so "until the end of discussion", and reverts every revert. I think this is incorrect because he was the person who tried to change the situation. He should have reached consensus on the talk pages and AFTER that moved the article not the opposite way. Another (new) Hungarian user who opposed his moves created forks. In the end we have a huge mess ans somebody should restore the former order - but the pre-Svetovid version, I think. Could you help with this? Zello 17:46, 29 May 2007 (UTC)
- I am not a beginner only I'm less active here than in HU. Sorry for the mess, I have just realized today this funny naming convention. I see that some Slovak editors are keen to have the KoH counties named in Slovak. It is too important for them. I find it funny.
- I correct a lot of Magyarization of geographic names in HU wikipedia because I hate this way of thinking and acting. But I also get angry of this "reslovakization" of KoH county names.
- Would you ever support renaming the Roman province of Hispania to España? And would you argue that this name is most commonly used in English?
- --peyerk 21:17, 29 May 2007 (UTC)
you are mistaken
Please take more time to learn about the issue, before taking action or reverting my edits. See this post by tankred you should learn more from it about the situation.
- The official language of the kingdom was Latin until (if I remember well) 1848. Then it was Hungarian, German, and again Hungarian. At the same time, counties had also their local names (in Slovak, Romanian, etc.), which were not used in official documents. In my opinion, he most accurate solution would be to use Latin names, but I do not see much support for it. So, another compromise has emerged and remained more or less undisputed until now: to have separate articles for counties (e.g. Szepes county) and for informal regions (Spiš). See Talk:Spiš#Requested_move. Most Hungarian editors seem to prefer a Hungarian name of a county. Although it is clearly an anachronism for most of the history of KoH (when Latin was the official language), it seemed to be a viable compromise until now. It is a pity that a new edit war has been launched over this issue. Tankred 14:24, 28 May 2007 (UTC)
See this post? Read it carefully. See where it links to Szepes county as an example of undisputed compromise? You blanked that article with your edit. Please take the time to learn about the situation before you start to edit. thanks Also in the second link there is a discussion where you even voted for the split to create the two articles one about the historical county e.g. Szepes county), and the other informal region (Spiš). And now you try to delete Szepes county by blanking the page ? Hobartimus 22:17, 29 May 2007 (UTC)
I won't revert you but why are you so obsessed with article history? Telling me how 'destroying' it and 'trapped in another article' is so bad? Hobartimus 23:21, 29 May 2007 (UTC)
Hi, this is your message. "See e.g. Spiš county and Szepes county, the Slovak version tells you that the article was started in November '06, not May '07." I did actually look at these articles, please take a moment to look at these histories yourself. You will see that they are exactly the same, check the first edit of Spiš county, you will see that someone copy pasted the whole article there, so the real article history that you fight over is not even there. I don't know why this copyright is so important to you, but the article history is not really there to "trap" or "destroy". Also i really don't understand this copyright issue could you explain in simple terms? why is claiming copyright so important to a supposedly free encylopedia? Hobartimus 08:25, 30 May 2007 (UTC)
So the solution is to place a note in the history to make it tracable? sorry to bother you this much but i see that you are an advanced editor who also followed this county issue. Hobartimus 11:00, 30 May 2007 (UTC)
Szepes is a historical county of HUNGARY, while Spis is an informal region of SLOVAKIA. Slovak language was NEVER official in hungary. I don't know why you still say things like "propose szepes" when you yourself voted for the split and the name "Szepes" with it so the two distinct articles could be separated one called Spis informal region one called Szepes county. There was already a vote on this Tankred even said it(he calls it undisputed compromise in the post above and links to Szepes county), MarkBA said it, you can read it on the links above. Tankred even suggested this same solution for even more counties. my head hurts. Hobartimus 14:29, 30 May 2007 (UTC)
- How many times do I have to explain this? The history is at "Spis county", so if there is consensus that the page should be named "Szepes county" than that page has to be moved by an admin, and not copy-pasted. There hasn't been a vote about how to name the county page, one anonymous user just decided to name it "Szepes county". If it's going to be "Szepes (county)" or something like that, fine, but not copy-pasting. Markussep Talk 14:58, 30 May 2007 (UTC)
- Markussep, I think that an article with the Szepes title may be allowed to exist on wikipedia. There is already one Spis article about the present Slovak county and nobody wants to rename that. The other counties in the Historical Hungarian County Category also bear their Hungarian names. In the long history of constant renaming and reverts I cannot determine who was the first to revert and who was reverting the reverted version. The first edits in the page history are about moving the article from Szepes to Spis - I actually don't understand this, I don't see any earlier version, I don't see who created the Szepes article at all. I think the discussion should rather be about what the content of the Szepes article should be. --KIDB 14:13, 30 May 2007 (UTC)
- See the histories Spiš county and Szepes county. The original article was Spiš, this was split into Spiš and Szepes county. "Szepes county" was moved to Spiš county on 27 May (including history), and copy-pasted back to "Szepes county" by Hobartimus 4 hours later. That's when the mess began. Further see my reply to Hobartimus above. Markussep Talk 14:58, 30 May 2007 (UTC)

I think we agree on what the substance of the question is, and are using different words to express it; possibly combined with the metaphysical question of whether esszett is the "same letter" as ss/sz.

Missing German municipalities
Hi Mark - I've noticed we have both been stubbing German municipalities - I was shocked to see so many missing articles - all the places in Germany should be mapped out asap. I have found though that you can copy and paste the info in the German infoboxes staright into the english one - please see Roßbach, Neuwied. The infobox makes the stubs twenty times better. I am trying to ensure that every arrticle on a German municipality has a standard info bo xlike this -please can you use and info box from now on - it only takes about ten seconds longer per article . Hope you are well ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ "Expecting you" Contribs 17:48, 17 June 2007 (UTC)
Hey there's no rush at all - but I wish there was more people who would help. - we can add a few every day or two and I'm sure it'll be done in no time at all. They are smaller places after all -its not as if Berlin is missing is it?!! Hey I've spent the last hour or so browsing articles on space exploration, rockets and airliners with all the cool images of space-this really is some unique project isn't it - its like reading NASA secret documents - every intricate of detail is given - of course all the images are public domain. The more you browse the more you realise how ginormous this is -but imagine how many articles are still missing and how many there could possibly be!!!!! Give this ten years and this will be something phenonemal. The potential of wikipedia is endless. Anyway just drooling over it!!!! Hope you are well, ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ "Expecting you" Contribs 14:33, 18 June 2007 (UTC)

There's nothing wrong with stubbing, I mean this in the nicest possible way - its just I'm wondering why you are so against using the info box which provides information especially when it can be done in seconds. Even if it takes a little longer it is much more worth doing -there is a big difference betwene the stubs which show all the info and location and the one liners -maybe you don't have the time but -as it is the stubs you created don't provide any information to anybody. I or someone else will have to go through the stubs you have created and add the info boxes anyway - so if you can do it initially it would save a lot of time. ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ "Expecting you" Contribs 11:44, 23 June 2007 (UTC)
Yes that does occur occasionally - on those articles I have mostly not added an info box at all as it was messed up. Most of fine. Hey its fine to stub to them its just I was thinking in the long term. Really the priority should be as you said to rid of the red links. -it'll all get done eventually anyway ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ "Expecting you" Contribs 12:00, 23 June 2007 (UTC)
Wow good progress - you're shooting through those districts -luckily most are not over 2225 municips like the one I'm on -leave that one to me I'll finish it eventually ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ "Expecting you" Contribs 18:26, 26 June 2007 (UTC)
Good consistent work particularly today. Yes I'd like to see the states of Germany all with full decent articles like the main Germany article. For some reason often there appears to be a distinct lack of detail on provinvial articles on wikipedia but full articles on small towns etc. As you may know my work on wikipedia covers many topics mostly film-rleeated work but I'm glad to help out in a geo area I see not fully covered and I'll keep my word to finish that big district and maybe stub a few others. Have a great break (Greece?????!!!) -just joking - if you are taking a breather and I look forward to hearing from you. Saludis de Tu amigo calvo (your bald friend) 21:18, 26 June 2007 (UTC)
Spalt
My name is Hogan, from the USA, and I have made several additions to your article on Spalt. Most of it has been simply translating everything from the German page onto the English page. I hope that I have time to finish translation, and I have already completed 5 sections. Would you mind looking over the article? Click here for the page
Rivers in Europe
I agree that the corrections made are not final and I intended to continue correcting. However, I have my doubts that the old list is as good as you claim. I am not discussing the order in which the tributaries enter the river. But the general title indicates In Romania. The Iskar is not in Romania, neither is the Yantra and so on. Agreed that the mouth is in Romania (actuallz also in the Ukraine) but the tributaries are in various countries. Indicating the country only according to the mouth of the river is confusing. I also have serious reservations about indicating the order of the rivers from downstream to upstream. In most countries the presentation is done in the direction of the flow of the water, not otherwise. But I have no objection to reverting to the former version for the time being, until these matters are sorted out.Afil 19:41, 9 July 2007 (UTC)
Saxony stubs
First of all thank you for creating all the municipality stubs. However, there is no rush necessary. I'd prefer if you could add two or three sentences too that are special about whatever municipality you're creating... If you speak German fluently it shouldn't be a problem to skim the the German articles and see what might distinguish the municipality from others. See for example what I added to Wechselburg and to Ralbitz-Rosenthal. I'm realistic, so I don't really think people will start filling up those articles in the near future so please make your stubs a little more "interesting";-) thx, --X-Weinzar 23:00, 16 July 2007 (UTC)
I'm sure they'll develop soon enough. Great progess - I have looked through several districts and all the red links have been removed. Which regions now need to be completed? ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ "Expecting you" Contribs 18:23, 20 July 2007 (UTC)
- well, I do understand and do appreciate your efforts to create those articles but honestly: Who do you think will put work into them? I'm skeptical about this unless some German users sign up in order to promote their home towns. I think just creating articles in order for "links to be blue" may not be the right way... --X-Weinzar 19:04, 23 July 2007 (UTC)
- There will be a minimal but sufficient information in each of those stubs once the infoboxes are copied in. Far more will grow then if we would not plant the seedling. Agathoclea 20:54, 23 July 2007 (UTC)

hello there Markussep, you once voted and showed interest on the topic of South Tyrol. Germany
I have fixed the links for Mayen-Koblenz. The path is now clear to just stub them all. But why are many municipalities categorized as towns and some municipalities not. Surely most municipalities have a village or small town of the municipality name? ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ "Talk"? 14:51, 29 August 2007 (UTC)
- I believe that there was sometime ago someone who classed everything as town. Current practice is to class "Städte" under 100k as towns ond over as cities and leave the rest as municipalities. I am linking [[Municipalities in Germany|municipality]] which is currently a redirect but could later be an article. Agathoclea 14:59, 29 August 2007 (UTC)
Well I would prefer a Category:Cities, towns and villages in Rhineland-Palatinate - much less confusing. The "cities" often have a subcateogry of their own anyway.

Concerning use of AWB
I've concluded that it AWB won't work to help create those articles quicker unless we find a way to add a template to the AWB input that will automatically result in the name of the article said template is placed on. For instance a template, if placed on the article Superman would automatically turn into the text "Superman" once saved. Wikidudeman (talk) 19:45, 10 September 2007 (UTC)

- Good morning. While you were answering the above I added another note to Wikipedia:WikiProject Germany/Cities which you might want to doublecheck. Agathoclea 08:21, 14 November 2007 (UTC)
- I noticed in some cases that the infobox as copied from de: didn't contain the "Art" field even though it was a town/Stadt. I corrected the ones I noticed, but probably I missed several. And there are still many places in both a "municipalities" and a "towns" category. I think the best way to fix this is to compare the "towns in X" categories with a list of towns from de:, like de:Liste der Städte in Deutschland, or the bold names in de:Liste der Städte und Gemeinden in Baden-Württemberg etc. for the states that have been completed (Baden-Württemberg, Bavaria, North Rhine-Westphalia, Saarland, Hesse). Unfortunately, there are no lists of towns by state, or categories of towns by state in de:. It's not my highest priority, though. One complicating thing is also that there are several places in the "towns" categories that aren't independent municipalities or towns (e.g. Rheydt, Obermarsberg, Nassau, Saxony). They should go to a "villages" or "boroughs" category, but I don't think there's been a decision on that yet. Maybe "localities in X", "quarters in X" or "municipal subdivisions in X". Markussep Talk 12:33, 14 November 2007 (UTC)
- That does complicate matters. But I think that can wait sorting until we managed to sort out the infoboxes and categories. Agathoclea 12:38, 14 November 2007 (UTC)

They should go to a "villages" or "boroughs" category, but I don't think there's been a decision on that yet. Maybe "localities in X", "quarters in X" or "municipal subdivisions in X". Markussep Talk 12:33, 14 November 2007 (UTC)
- I just discovered Category:Neighbourhoods in Germany, but there's also Category:Villages in Germany. What we're looking for is an equivalent for "Ortsteil", something that covers both urban subdivisions like Rheydt and Bad Godesberg, and rural places like Denklingen (Reichshof) and Klein Priebus. Neighbourhood looks fine to me. Markussep Talk 14:20, 14 November 2007 (UTC)

Sponheim
There seems to be something wrong with the Grafschaft Sponheim Infobox that I am not able to fix. Ksnow 15:15, 3 December 2007 (UTC)Ksnow
- The equals sign is showing where the flag is, and the sin escudo flags are off to the right, almost out of the box. Ksnow 15:28, 3 December 2007 (UTC)Ksnow
Landkreis in Deutschland
As far as the English Wikipedia is concerned. Can Landkries be "County" and Verbandsgemeinde be "Township" or "County district". Due to the target audience being American in which our federal structure is as follows: National = Bundeswiet State = Bundesland County= Landkreis Township/County district = Verbandsgemeinde City/Town = Stadt/Ort so with that said may it remain County of Kaiserslautern as to better serve the American population in the region and the readers of English Wikipedia. Danke ;) MKLPTR 17:46, 4 December 2007 (UTC)
RE: Land kreis in Deutschland
It would be nice if we did re-name them to counties. But that would be impractical by now due to the number of articles. However the rationale is you need to look at the equivalent governmental body in your target audiences area. For us here in the U.S. district is only used in cities like "Stadttiel" in German. Like I live in The City of Antioch (Stadt) on the County of Contra Costa (Landkries) in the state of California (Bundesland) in the Nation of the United States of America (Bundesrepublik). see where I am going with this?
here is also an excerpt from the Deutsch "County" page:
"County (Plural: Countys; englischer Plural: counties) ist in 48 der 50 Bundesstaaten der Vereinigten Staaten der Name der Verwaltungseinheiten, die den deutschen Landkreisen"
Hope that helps ;)

Update on Bavaria
Just to let you know what I had been up to for the last week or so. I removed all (or most) of the Towns in/municipalities in... Categories to let the infobox do the categorization. I am still in the process of matching the lead to the category generated from the infobox. But I ran into a slight problem: there are only 315 Städte in Bavaria - 6 Cities and 309 Towns - so I still have about 60 which are marked as Towns when they are not. I found a few where the type=town or Art=Stadt has been added when the infobox was copied from dewiki. All in all still a bit of work ahead. Agathoclea (talk) 23:06, 4 December 2007 (UTC)
Avanton
Hi. I'd like to thank you for adding that Avanton article, especially considering that I had only added Cone d'Avanton a few hours earlier. athinaios (talk) 16:31, 5 December 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks. I followed your advice. It's now Avanton Gold Cone. athinaios (talk) 17:35, 5 December 2007 (UTC)
Wolkersdorf im Weinviertel
If you work around this page please leave the finish as it was. Second time now "contents" was repositioned! No objections if you place links but keep the form please!
I will consider a attempt to place "contents" back to it's genuine place as ecxuse! :-) User talk:Atyx
Fine! :-) ...dont worry be further good as you are!
Atyx (talk) 20:50, 11 December 2007 (UTC) Atyx (talk) 20:49, 11 December 2007 (UTC)
Slow but shure I get the story! :-) You are a wikiholic and you prefixed the code inputs in all the villages/Cities concerning Lower Autria, right?
This is great, made work for me really easy! Instead of working and experiencing all the wiki rules to edit a page I only had to fill in your prefixed form!
Thanks for this great help. Atyx (talk) 22:00, 13 December 2007 (UTC) Atyx (talk) 22:01, 13 December 2007 (UTC)
2007-12-16 / Hi Markus!
I have in mind to create a page about LEDNICE / CZ which is really a wonderfull place, a place I´m very often over there and I have plenty pics. This page should just be a suggestion to visit Lednice on a weekend and tell people some storys about Lednice. But I must log in and if I try that wiki always reply: The user atyx is unkwon! Do you know why please?

HI! Great the new finish of Wolkersdorf! Looks very professionell :-)Are you still alive? I get a look in your talk page and it seems more and more you are a wikiholic! :-) Please try - if its not too much asked - to place the content box on its genuine place! I give up, wikipedia`s internal structure drives me crazy... Atyx (talk) 00:31, 18 December 2007 (UTC)

Germany stubs
Hi Mark. Did you finish Germany after? ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 13:53, 17 December 2007 (UTC)
That is excellent work and progreess. i admire you for it!!!! i'm a bit tied up myself at the moment sorting out film, but it was always good to work with you. Let me know if you really need a hand with something and I'll see what I can do when I have a moment spare. I was gradually aiming to add the communes in France (which also needs doing). There is an inter-wiki link on this page to Lumbaart (lmo:Herxheim), but when I try to move it into its proper position so that the links are alphabetical or to copy it onto the German page, it doesn't show up. Can you figure out what is going on?
Ksnow (talk) 11:30, 19 December 2007 (UTC)Ksnow
Yes, but I am on a different computer. I wonder what the problem was? Thanks, again. Ksnow (talk) 14:16, 19 December 2007 (UTC)Ksnow
Gemeinde Web sites
Is there any way we can edit the Ort in Deutschland template so that Web sites with long names don't make the infobox get wide? This would mean that we could include the whole address without having an aesthetically unpleasant effect. Ksnow (talk) 08:57, 23 December 2007 (UTC)Ksnow
Yes, I finished Rhineland-Palatinate, and Saarland is done. I am working on Saxony. Ksnow (talk) 17:02, 27 December 2007 (UTC)Ksnow
