Just to document, I have received wikipedia email sent from this account, requesting they be unblocked or at least have account creation enabled to "start afresh". I declined for both requests, given there have been zero constructive edits from this account, the user continued making joke/vandalistic edits despite warnings, and there was nothing to indicate there'd be any change in behaviour. In the mail the user disavowed knowledge of their edits made in 2007, which I found unlikely. Their last edit before being blocked a month ago was to add reference and link to "Hawesian Institute" site at 2012 phenomenon, evidently a hoax/prank site that—judging by the signature in the email—the user either created or is affiliated with.

Nonetheless, since the user may still edit this usertalk page, they are free to add request for unblock here and then some uninvolved admin can make an independent assessment.

Also to note, although I replied to email w/in 48 hours of its receipt, it was not delivered since according to email provider the account was 'no longer valid'. Hence posting this here.--cjllw ʘ TALK 04:44, 19 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
