Total Divas

Hi, Has Sonya Deville and Maryse confirmed for total divas? or not? I Recently see the current revision showing that Sonya Deville is not a part of main cast and Maryse and Alexa are not returning. Is this true? CK (talk) 10:07, 3 August 2018 (UTC)

Broken nutshell; Yes, it has been confirmed that Alexa, Maryse, and Sonya are not apart of the main cast. MSMRHurricane (talk) 21:42, 3 August 2018 (UTC)
MSMRHurricane; Ahhh Thanks man! but it's too bad that these 3 girls are not returning. Well lets see next year what happens. CK (talk) 21:59, 3 August 2018 (UTC)

Total Divas season 8

Please refer to the correct guideline in reference to the page Total Divas (season 8) and it seem you may be too close to the subject and keep undoing anything done to it, especially used to promote the previous seasons is not good. Please review Wikipedia:Verifiability for clarification. thanks w1n5t0n (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 23:56, 14 September 2018 (UTC)

Blair277; Thank you for bringing this to my attention, however, there was no problem of the sorts with the creation of the previous seasonal pages... so I don't understand why this page is not up to code. Could you please enlighten me as to why this is the case? Thanks again, MSMRHurricane (talk) 01:34, 15 September 2018 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for November 30

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Total Divas (season 8), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Money in the Bank (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Total Divas

Hi there. I see that you've been reaching out to other editors to assist you with editing the Total Divas article to no avail. As I stated in my edit summary, if you feel that strongly about recurring cast members not needing citations and that the episode count of a cast member determines whether they are a guest star or a recurring cast member, both of which–in my opinion–are original research because there's not one source stating anyone's recurring status on the show, then please contact an administrator to assist you with editing the article. Cheers! DantODB (talk) 08:49, 14 January 2019 (UTC)

DantODB; No harm in gaining others' opinions, seeing as there were no problems with the table up until now. Plus, I did not want to engage in an edit war with you. As I said also, it's not necessarily me that personally feels strongly about this, it's a fact (or so I have come to believe) that recurring and guest cast members are two different things. My point stands with the majority of other cast tables found on Wikipedia. With saying this, I'm not claiming I am right, that is just the way I have been editing, as it display's accurate information that doesn't necessarily require a source, similar to such things as "run times" that are displayed in the infobox. I'm not really into getting hostile and territorial on here, I prefer working with an editor and not against them. I do actually hope we can come to some sort of an agreement rather than shooting each other down. MSMRHurricane (talk) 02:49, 15 January 2019 (UTC)
I do enjoy working with–as opposed to against–other editors as well, which I thought we were doing. Recurring and guest cast members are different, we are in agreement on that. My point has always been that there has not been one source distinguishing the two types on the show. You claim that one's involvement in a storyline makes them recurring and not guest. Unless a reliable source states explicitly that certain cast members are recurring and certain ones are merely guests, per WP:OR, it would be considered original research. I maintain that all non-primary cast members are credited as guest cast members because that's what the sources listed maintain. Also, as another editor already pointed out to you on their talk page, the argument of "other shows do it as well" does not hold. Let's say hypothetically that all of the other articles you mentioned are not adhering to Wiki standards: Should the Total Divas article also not adhere to standards as opposed to being different in that it is more accurate? And finally, "run times" in infoboxes as you mentioned, are sourced somewhere further down the article because they–as all information do–have to be sourced. These citations are often found under the Overview or Production sections because per WP:INFOBOXREF, citations would be better in paragraphs. To respond to the agreement you mentioned, I'm unclear on what this means because neither you nor I own the article; we're both trying to make it as accurate as possible. So if you would like to continue reaching out to other users to contribute, please continue doing so. Cheers! DantODB (talk) 08:44, 15 January 2019 (UTC)
DantODB; I'm glad you responded as such, as some editors I have encountered tend to keep the hostility going, so I appreciate that. At least we agree on something, so I am going to put it to bed and leave as is. Thanks for the civil discussion and I hope we can continue to collaborate as such. Thanks! MSMRHurricane (talk) 19:54, 15 January 2019 (UTC)
No problem at all! I always like to make sure discussions are as good-natured as possible. Have a great rest of your week! DantODB (talk) 03:41, 16 January 2019 (UTC)

Same last name

Under a situation like The Usos, their names should be displayed as both Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso, the first time its mentioned as well as in tables/infoboxes. Basically think about it as any time you would/could provide a wikilink, the name should be full name. In instances such as this edit that you made [1], the first edit was incorrect, they both should have had the last name. In the second instance it was also incorrect because neither should have the last name. Same would apply for teams like the Hardys, Steiners, Young Bucks, etc. See MOS:SAMESURNAME for more info.
