Boštjan Gartner (1966) is a Slovenian singer-songwriter, guitarist from Ljubljana.

Boštjan Gartner started performing as a singer at smaller venues in the 80s of the past century. In 1987, he performed at the Voice of Youth of Slovenia festival in Črnomelj. In 1989, accompanied by guest musicians, he recorded the first studio recording produced by Radio Slovenia in Studio 14. In 1992, Tin Music recorded a collection of eight songs only with the guitar accompaniment. Some radio stations started broadcasting them.

In 1995 and 1996, he recorded his first record in the studio Kif Kif, accompanied by guest musicians: Blaž Grm (piano, organ), Maja Repše (violin), Barbara Cerkovnik (accompanying vocal), Jožef Sečnik (bass guitar) and Primož Simončič (alt saxophone). The record is mostly a work of authorship, including the tuning of the song by Fran Milčinski Ježek The Action Of Lighting the Lights. The plate under the name River (Reka) was released in the autumn of 1996.

The panel was presented in radio shows (Half an hour for chanson, ...), in radio live performances (music show Janeta Webra, ...) and concert live shows (KUD France Prešeren in Ljubljana, Maribor, .. .). In December 1998, the last time he publicly appeared before the group House in The Home Of Freedom in Trbovlje.
