Irrelevant details[edit]

Dear Lucy,

Could you please stop adding irrelevant to the death section of "<year> in film"-sections? There is no need to mention every movie thay have played in, as it is already mentioned in the article about the actor/actress. That info is just one click away. Unfortrunately, you also add many links to disambiguation pages with that. So, please: stop! The Banner talk 18:53, 2 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Dear The Banner,

I am adding the names of the movies these people were in to match the formatting of the other years in film. I don't find them irrelevant. As far as the disambiguation pages go, I fix them as often as I am notified. If you have any constructive suggestions, I would suggest you stick with those. Thank you.

Opting in to VisualEditor[edit]

As you may know, VisualEditor ("Edit beta") is currently available on the English Wikipedia only for registered editors who choose to enable it. Since you have made 100 or more edits with VisualEditor this year, I want to make sure that you know that you can enable VisualEditor (if you haven't already done so) by going to your preferences and choosing the item, "MediaWiki:Visualeditor-preference-enable". This will give you the option of using VisualEditor on articles and userpages when you want to, and give you the opportunity to spot changes in the interface and suggest improvements. We value your feedback, whether positive or negative, about using VisualEditor, at Wikipedia:VisualEditor/Feedback. Thank you, Whatamidoing (WMF) (talk) 18:22, 11 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
