Medical harm[edit]

Hello. I see you created the article Medical harm even though you are aware that an article on the same subject, Iatrogenesis, already exists. Wikipedia guidelines warn against having multiple articles covering the same topic. Would you mind merging any information from your article, provided it meets Wikipedia's guidelines, and then changing the Medical harm article into a redirect by replacing its contents with

#redirect [[Iatrogenesis]]

I did see that page on iatrogenesis and did not feel it adequately addresses the issue of medical harm as a systemic problem - but also did not feel comfortable taking his page away since iatrogenesis is a legitimate term. But, thanks to you I realized that I did not convey that clearly in my lead. Please check it and let me know what you think. - Laila
Thanks, that change makes all the difference. I made a further change, explained by my edit summary, but if I am misunderstanding something about what types of incidents iatrogenic illness covers, please feel free to undo my change. Also, I wonder if the meaning changes depending on whether you refer to it as "iatrogenic illness" or "iatrogenesis". Are those exactly the same thing, or is it just that the former has been redirected to the latter because the former doesn't have its own article? —Largo Plazo (talk) 11:24, 28 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
