Speedy deletion nomination of Local Motors[edit]

A tag has been placed on Local Motors, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. My sincere apologies: I neglected to include references for Local Motors, a company that I am working for. Local Motors is a car company like chevrolet and deserves its own wiki page. I did a little googling, and it looks like Local Motors may well be a notable company. If so, it's inevitable that someone outside the company will create an article at some point as the company grows, in accordance with the conflict of interest guideines. Then you can pour a toast around the office, and say, "Huzzah! Someone has written a Wikipedia article about us!"
