Protest End Dates
[edit]Protests suc as Nahel Merzouk protests are not wars like the Thirty Years' War that they have a formal treaty or declaration to have end dates, protests are over the day news reporters say that they have calmed and there are no more Wikipedia:Reliable sources stating that they are ongoing as with the 1992 Los Angeles riots. Protests unlike wars do not have formal declaration and ends after active protests are no longer ongoing and no more sources reports ongoing protests linked to the even. Thus I request you to remove the citation needed tag. Good day. Dilbaggg (talk) 04:37, 14 July 2023 (UTC)
- @Dilbaggg: If there was no specific end date and reliable sources do not identify one, then the infobox should not list a specific date. To do otherwise would violate WP:NOR. Alternative constructions, such as
early July
andc. 10 July
, may be appropriate depending on how reliable sources describe the conclusion of the civil unrest. LifeofTau 23:51, 17 July 2023 (UTC)
