There discussion about Urdu on Talk:Andhra_Pradesh#Urdu_in_AP, Can have your comment.--Vin09 (talk) 10:21, 9 August 2014 (UTC)
Pls have a glance at this news, it states memorandum to the CM on some issues, and one of the issue being consideration of Urdu as the second official language in Andhra Pradesh. So, at present there is no second officio language based on this. Your say?--Vin09 (talk) 16:05, 10 August 2014 (UTC)

Hi there,
I see youve commented on my proposed change on https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:NATO_bombing_of_Yugoslavia with the following: please establish a consensus for this alteration before using the edit semi-protected template.
I've been reading through the consensus and other wikipedia policies and I'm not sure how to proceed in establishing consensus on this change. Note that the original text I wanted altered has already been removed so at this point I'm just interested how I should opt for a change in a protected article.

Thank you for your feedback on vandalism
The issue was that the editor kept undoing edits that I had made and cited from reliable sources. This had to do with order counts and Airbus fanboys like to diminish orders from Boeing even when faced with Boeing information and reports from reliable sources such as the Wall Street Journal. I guess I will suffer fools and just keep correcting until they stop undoing my fact based corrections.

Disruptive Edits On Kempegowda International Airport
To: Leo Frank, Veteran Editor III Wikipedia, Date: 14th November 2014 Hi Leo, Sub: Disruptive editing of Kempegowda International Airport, Bengaluru Hope you’re doing well. This letter is in regards to the dispute of editing the Kempegowda International Airport page. I would firstly like to apologise for having you constantly go through and re-edit these changes I have made. As you had mentioned on my talk page citing the various reasons as to why you have reverted/removed my edits, I feel it is necessary to inform you that the page of Kempegowda International Airport is very outdated. I, Karthik Hegde work as an account executive at Publicis Consultants Asia and I represent the Bangalore International Airport Limited (BIAL) in their public relations aspect. BIAL as you may know, own and operate the Kempegowda International Airport, Bengaluru and as such I have access to the latest facts and figures, including the name of the airport which is represented wrongly. We only want the factual data, free of any embellishments to be published on the page and as such are willing to provide any citations and sources you require. For instance, the lounges mentioned on the page do not exist. The only lounges present are owned by Plaza Premium and Above Ground level, along with a Day Hotel and a VIP lounge. There is no Air India, Jet Airways, Oberoi and Leela lounge. The runway orientation is wrong, the photo at the Airlines and Destinations section is wrong. It depicts Kingfisher Airlines which does not exist anymore. Their cargo facility and the awards and honours sections are outdated. We are very appreciative of your interest in ensuring that the page is accurate and free of conflicting information and only want to support these efforts with the correct data, in the best interest of readers. In order to attempt a mutual consensus, I can share with you the changes that we are intending to make, for your review and comments, as well as suggestions. Once we agree, we can work together for an updated and informative page. I hope you are in agreement with this approach and look forward to working with you on this project. Thanking You,
Yours respectfully, Karthik Hegde Account Executive Publicis Consultants Asia 9620836432 Hegdekarthik (talk) 09:58, 14 November 2014 (UTC)
- @Hegdekarthik: I don't care who you are or what you do. Rules have to be followed while editing (which you are not). If you represent BIAL, then you have to stay away from the article due to conflict of interest. Whatever changes you make should be verifiable and reliable and should mostly be from third party sources in cases you are editing. — LeoFrank Talk 06:00, 15 November 2014 (UTC)
DisruptiveEdits
To: Leo Frank, Veteran Editor III Wikipedia, Date: 19th November 2014 Sub: Disruptive editing of Kempegowda International Airport. Hi Leo. Firstly I would like to apologise for the inconvenience caused by my previous disruptive edits. I understand your stand point as a senior editor and in order to show that there is no conflict of interest, I will follow all rules of edits and will only make edits to those statements that can be backed by verifiable and reliable third party sources such as newspaper articles. I sincerely hope that we can reach some sort of understanding. If need be I will run any changes plus citations by you, for your approval before making them. That said, here are the changes I intended to make, along with their third party reliable citations. Updating Cargo section – KIA Cargo section is E-freight Compliant[1], Menzies Aviation Bobba Pvt Ltd has cold pharma zone[2], Air India SATS has e-freight initiative[3]. Awards and Honours Section - to add note on Pinnacle awards[4]. Acronym to change from BIA to KIA[5]. The removal of photo at airlines and destinations as KFA no longer exists. Lounge Section – mention of Above Ground level lounge and Day Hotel[6], [7] and Runway Orientation to match the already given orientation on side summary table. I hope you are in agreement with this approach and look forward to working with you on this project. Thanking You Karthik Hegde Hegdekarthik (talk) 08:25, 19 November 2014 (UTC)

Citations are needed to be applied to the Airlines and destinations section of Biju Patnaik International Airport page. Dear sir, your erasing of the official name of Belagavi as बेळगाव appears to be of no use, because 80% of the Belagavites are Marathis and the manifestos and public or official documents are printed in Marathi language Ankush 89 (talk) 14:37, 22 March 2015 (UTC)
- @Ankush 89: Your rationale appears to be irrelevant. If you go by this, you will have to add Kannada in Solapur, Telugu script in Hosur, Telugu in Kolar, and so on. Delhi IGI Airport
Hi LeoFrank, I am not satisfied with your recent edits (reverting my stuff). Need valid explanation.
- First, deletion of destinations map from Delhi Airport article as such maps are there on almost all major airport articles. You mentioned services changed time to time, so what our editors are capable of modifying (updating) it as it requires.
- Second, about prospective flights, see Soekarno–Hatta International Airport article, it is there even withour proper references, at least in my case I provide strong supporting references for all my edits.
- And third, I referred none other than Times of India, most reputed media house in India, for the list of busiest international routes from DEl for the year 2014, as such list are on every other major international airport articles. And this also shows the nature of international traffic to and fro Delhi airport.
Hope you come up with suitable explanation, specially on the third point. Regards- M.soumen (talk) 6:15; 28 March 2015 (UTC)
- @M.soumen: You seem to lack the knowledge of WP:AIRPORT-CONTENT and in general, wiki's policies. Destination maps are useless given that we have a destinations list and it unnecessarily makes the article too big. Prospect destinations are not to be added. Go through WP:ATA for the rationale you mention. Although it is for articles, it also applies to article content. Busiest international destinations keep changing month over month and are never same for the same month of another year. A current busy destination may not be busy at all in the years to come. The same is true other way round. Kindly go through project guidelines carefully before adding content. — LeoFrank Talk 11:21, 28 March 2015 (UTC)

As for your complaint, previously you claimed it was NOTNEWS, now apparently its an ESSAY. Please make up your mind first, on what exactly your problem is, and then we can discuss solving it. Reason for the Revert
Hello LeoFrank,
Hi! I'm new to wiki and had recently added some details to a page.
I had listed the engineering colleges in Mysore on the 'Mysore'page. But the revision history says that you have reverted that edit. Can you please explain the reason behind the revert?
I had added that information in good faith and with a completely neutral point of view, and had even linked the wiki pages of those colleges (at least for those which had wiki pages anyway). I do not understand why this information was reverted. I thought it would help people who were looking at Mysore as an option for pursuing their technical/engineering education. I am just surprised at the revert and am curious to know the reason behind it. Kindly do let me know.
As this was my first edit on wikipedia, I do not know if this was an error on my part or if the error was in the way the information was presented. And also since this was my very first edit, I was quiet enthusiastic about it! But seeing the revert kind of took all the fun out of my first wiki experience :( So please LeoFrank, help me understand the situation a bit better!
Thanks! TheBakaPrince (talk) 05:59, 3 September 2015 (UTC)
- @TheBakaPrince: You always learn from mistakes . Anyways, wikipedia is not a directory of places or institutes. Just a worthy mention of the most prominent ones could be included. But given that Mysore is a featured article, any addition should rather be discussed and consensus be achieved from other editors to avoid a demotion of the article from its current status. — LeoFrank Talk 16:57, 3 September 2015 (UTC)

Delta Air Lines Fleet page
Hi LeoFrank. I know you are an experienced and respected editor for aviation related pages. Would you please cite the WP authority you are basing the removal of the Special Liveries table from the article? The table has been in the article for years. I understand that by itself longevity doesn't qualify it to always be in the article. I just want to understand why the table is now being removed. Simply stating that the table is "not notable" explains nothing. If there is a policy by the Wikipedia Aviation project covering special liveries can you please cite if for me? In my opinion this table is both encyclopedic and easily verifiable by reliable sources. Usually items that are considered "not notable" on fleet pages are travel guide type bits of information such as amenities or trivia like "largest operator of...." statements. Thanks in advance. 67.42.159.123 (talk) 17:35, 7 December 2015 (UTC)
- Ok, I've answered my own question. Per Wikipedia:WikiProject Aviation/Registrations found at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:WikiProject_Aviation/Registrations#Airline_fleet_lists Special Livery sections are allowed. Here is the relevant quote: "Airline fleet lists should not include registrations, although aircraft in special paint schemes can be identified either in a Livery section or in the general text." Based on this authority II am reverting your deletion of the Delta Air Lines Pleet page Special Liveries section. Thanks LeoFrank 67.42.156.207 (talk) 04:28, 8 December 2015 (UTC)
I noticed you added a refimprove tag to the page last June. I've shared a draft on the Talk page that would replace all the press release sources with actual secondary sources (press articles). KL International Airport
Hi @LeoFrank You have revert my edit [1] on this above mentioned airport. Do you have further explanation on why it should be in Wikipedia? I'll give you few sources that derived the official name of this airport as KL International Airport.
1) I've not changed or moved the page to official name because we must use commonly recognizable names, which in this case is Kuala Lumpur International Airport. However, as per WP:OFFICIAL, 'Where there is an official name that is not the article title...It should always be provided early in an article's introduction, bolded at its first mention and, where appropriate, italicised.' Thus my edit on the lead section should be valid.
2) This official name can be found on Malaysia's Department of Civil Aviation (DCA) high level publications such as annual report [2] (page 40) and DCA's Aeronautical Information Package [3]
3) It is also stated on Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad (MAHB)'s (the operator of this airport) publication and website. It can be found on 2014 Annual Report [4] (page 35, 113, 116, 133, 334) and the official website [5]
4) This issue has been argued previously [6], however it doesn't caught the attention.
Thus I seek your explanation on why it shouldn't be put on Wikipedia. If you argue it just a shorthand, then why Kota Kinabalu International Airport doesn't, despite having 12 alphabet compared 11 alphabet in Kuala Lumpur. You have to consider the authority of documents that I provide. It is a main source and not from third party. As for now, I will revert to my edit. ---Tafeax (talk) 18:10, 8 January 2016 (UTC)
- @Tafeax: AFAIK, the title is what has to be mentioned in the lead and the website of the aiport need not give have the official name. For, BLR, the website still shows the name as Bengaluru International which is not the official name. Official names of airports are as per IATA and ICAO records. Furthermore, I see you keep making changes which need a good and healthy discussion unilaterally. There wasn't any concensus on the change for KUL in the dest list, but you have unilaterally changed it. Wikipedia can wait. You have to have patience and wait to get consensus. There hasn't been any consensus on the listing of KUL. Even for the name change, I suggest you start a healthy discussion and wait for a consensus! — LeoFrank Talk 15:00, 9 January 2016 (UTC)

KL International Airport
Following our discussion, I must inform you that consensus can be reached by editing itself. Any edit that is not disputed or reverted by another editor can be assumed to have consensus. So there is no issue if editor change unilaterally. Unfortunately, you had reverted my edits on KLIA's official name (though maintaining the common name first) and some airport which list Kuala Lumpur-International. Its so disappointed to see you merely comment 'no consensus' which should be avoid at all cost. To my surprise, you've made me known that you inclined to my proposal. It is true that Wikipedia can wait, but it doesn't necessarily need to wait for consensus on every edit or deletion. It is impractical to wait forever for affirmation, sometimes it is best to assume that silence implies consensus. So if you do not agree to list KUL as Kuala Lumpur-International, kindly raise your underlying issue here. --Tafeax (talk) 19:49, 26 January 2016 (UTC)
