Deleted message to PS

Since the following was deleted from your talkpage, I've restored it on mine pending a discernable answer.

-- Oh, dear. [1] and [2]? Both are fine individual editors, but wp:CANVAS doesn't care about that. If you want to increase the number of opinions, good. But please do so properly. LeadSongDog come howl! 06:56, 1 November 2012 (UTC) --

Now the edit comment at your deletion suggests that the feedback request was proper, yet clearly the CANVASSings did not come via the agency of User:RFC_bot (edit | talk | history | links | watch | logs), they were direct from you, and direct to exactly two other users. Perhaps you thought "random" meant you should just pick any of them off the list arbitrarily? LeadSongDog come howl! 18:23, 1 November 2012 (UTC)

As a newcomer to that particular process, I have to say I find the wording at Wikipedia:Requests_for_comment#Publicizing_an_RfC somewhat hard to contextualize. I have mentioned my perplexity on the relevant Talk page [3]. —MistyMorn (talk) 19:04, 1 November 2012 (UTC)
Yes, it does need some clarification.LeadSongDog come howl! 19:19, 1 November 2012 (UTC)
Fwiw, I actually wasted quite some time trying to work it out. And I still haven't. —MistyMorn (talk) 19:34, 1 November 2012 (UTC)

The Canadian Journal of Psychiatry

Thank you LeadSongDog for your comments on my recent edits. I work for the Canadian Psychiatric Association, so I will be more mindful not to have the text sound like a promotional piece and would appreciate getting your input perdiodically to ensure the updates stay informative. Actually, I am having difficulty finding where I am supposed to declare my interest. Any suggestions you have would be appreciated. Thank you. Vstdenis (talk) 18:07, 7 November 2012 (UTC)

The guidelines are at wp:COI, but in short it's best to declare both on your userpage and on the talkpage of any article you edit where the potential for COI might be perceived. If in doubt about specific edits it's best to just suggest them on the talkpage and leave it up to other editors to decide. There's a related noticeboard at wp:COIN where the community can discuss specific cases. LeadSongDog come howl! 19:01, 7 November 2012 (UTC)

Dear LeadSongDog! Please tell me, is this request still open? -- Doc Taxon (talk) 18:23, 8 November 2012 (UTC)

Seems to be. I'll do the edits if it is found, Sandy seems to be infrequent on WP these days.LeadSongDog come howl! 19:16, 8 November 2012 (UTC)
I'll try to get it for you, -- Doc Taxon (talk) 07:53, 9 November 2012 (UTC)

And what about WP:REX#Hitoshi Doi? -- Doc Taxon (talk) 10:04, 9 November 2012 (UTC)

Thank you. I think that Undercurrents transcript is not likely to ever be sourced, unless someone has a budget for commercial archive transcript services. User:WhisperToMe was the original requester. LeadSongDog come howl! 16:25, 9 November 2012 (UTC)
I tried to search for Undercurrents on ca.cision.com , but I couldn't find it. Where were your informations from? Can you help me to find a holder of the episode of Undercurrents user:WhisperToMe is looking for please? -- Doc Taxon (talk) 18:05, 9 November 2012 (UTC)
This episode is not in the CBC player -- Doc Taxon (talk) 18:32, 9 November 2012 (UTC)
I don't see any record of it either. The information came from user:WhisperToMe. The only reference I see to it is here, but that's not much use other than to call it episode 53 of the show. Perhaps Whisper can clarify? LeadSongDog come howl! 21:01, 9 November 2012 (UTC)
