Welcome!

Hello, LUCIOBLUES, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as Traversari, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines, and may soon be deleted.

There's a page about creating articles you may want to read called Your first article. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on this page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Questions or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! Zachlipton (talk) 09:17, 11 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Traversari requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Zachlipton (talk) 09:17, 11 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Buona sera, LUCIOBLUES, come stai? The article now has a "talk page", and so it's good practice to add comments about the article there, instead of the article itself. I only have high-school Italian, so probably best if you do the translation. Ciao! --Shirt58 (talk) 09:55, 11 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Linking[edit]

Please do not continue to repeatedly link the same word in the article Gabriel Traversari. See WP:OVERLINK for additional information of what and how words should be linked. Thank you, --Jezebel'sPonyobons mots 16:47, 20 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Use of "Hangon" tag[edit]

I have removed the "hangon" tags you added to this page and to the article. That tag is only for use on an article page if the article has been tagged for speedy deletion - this one has not. It was tagged back on 11 Jan, but the speedy was declined the same day. JohnCD (talk) 14:54, 21 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

James Son Thomas[edit]

A reference to this gentleman should go in either James Thomas or Thomas (surname), not the general Thomas article. Favonian (talk) 15:47, 24 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Barnstar![edit]

I award you this barnstar for assuming good faith when another editor made a mistake. Thank you! Bped1985 (talk) 15:56, 25 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for April 20[edit]

Hi. When you recently edited Black & Blue Records, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Michael Coleman (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 11:13, 20 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
