Would you mind if I nominated it for DYK, which would hopefully end up with the article being linked from the main page? Thanks, Matty.007 09:01, 28 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Comparison of iOS e-book reader software / Snapplify

[edit]

Hello LAJ007,

thanks for commenting on the talk page of Comparison of iOS e-book reader software about my revert of adding the Snapplify reader.

I wasn't aware of the Snapplify page which does have external links, indeed. I think it's still a bit on the border line of notability as an *app*, though. Pretty much all other apps in the comparison have at least >= 100.000 hits on Google and extensive external media coverage with about half on them having their own Wikipedia article.

I was slightly in doubt about the "independent" part as well because, looking at your contributions, they are solely about Snapplify. So I - probably wrongly - assumed you might an employee or otherwise affiliated with Snapplify.

I'm glad, though, you're open to discussion. So, what makes the Snapplify reader app notable in order to be added to the comparison chart?
