==‎Massachusetts School Law of 1642==

Hello and welcome! I saw your new article, it certainly seems like a great start. There are a few pointers in the boilerplate help above, but I thought I'd leave a short note with some helpful (I hope) hints. We have a manual of style, but no need to worry too much about that to start with. Normally we have the title of the article worked into the first sentence in bold, so you might say something like "The Massachusetts School Law of 1642 was" ... If possible, try to work in some links. (Massachusetts Education Law of 1647 is the easiest way, although a web link works as you saw). Articles are usually slotted into categories, but it's not always easy to find the right one. I usually check a similar article (1647 law say) and use the categories from that. You can just click edit on the page you want to copy from and cut and paste the categories (they're usually at the end) into your article. Don't worry too much about trying to get everything done at once. There are always plenty of roaming editors looking for articles to categorise or add links to, and stuff like that, while people who write articles from scratch sometimes seem to be in short supply. Again, welcome to Wikipedia. If you have any questions, the links above might help. Alternatively, you can add {{helpme}} (helpme inside two sets of curly braces) here and someone should be along soon to see what's up. Lastly, you can leave me a message on my talk page (link at the end) and I'll be glad to try and help out. All the best, Angus McLellan (Talk) 00:46, 21 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
