Ancient Macedonian language[edit]

As for your change to the disambiguation notice at Ancient Macedonian language, you may have noticed User:Matia.gr reverted it, and I happen to agree with him there. While the affiliation of Ancient Macedonian is uncertain, one thing that is absolutely not uncertain is that it is unrelated to Slavic. This disambiguation notice has been the subject of some discussion in the past, and the outcome each time seems to have been that most editors found it useful in this or a similar form. - I'm a bit less certain about the appropriateness of Matia's reverting also your change to Macedon. If you feel strongly about that one, drop me a note and I'll get you in contact with him and try to help you two work it out. You are probably aware this is a rather sensitive issue to Greek editors. Hello Lukas. Thank you for your welcome note. Thanks also for your concerns. But we are not here to please greek editors, are we? Anyway, in linguistics the question of the slavic language is developing. And its revelating. Refering to the model of the prechristian macedonian language we have today, it seems as if here's a lot of work to do. Linguists are searching for the connection between the baltic, german and slavic language. I an timezone which is beyond the common comprehension of the language migration. Its a hard nut to crack. Your Macedonia reverts[edit]

Hi, I noticed you have been making quite a few reverts today, including three at Macedonia. Please be aware of the Three-reverts rule, which very strictly forbids more than three reverts on an article within 24 hours, and strongly discourages "revert-warring" even below that threshold. You might get blocked for making more reverts. - That said, I agree with the others on this one. Macedonia is a disambiguation page. The Wikipedia guideline is that such a page should contain only whatever information is absolutely necessary to identify the topic of the articles pointed to.
