[Davor Džalto] Born in Travnik(Bosnia and Herzegovina)on 17th May 1980. Artist, Art Historian and one of the most prominent Serbian intelectuals of young generation. In the begining of the war in Bosnia moved to Serbia, where he finished primary and high school, and later university. 1999 - Graduated High School of Art in Nis. 2003 - Received BA from the Faculty of Philosophy, University in Belgrade, Department of Art History, as the best student of the Faculty. 2003 – MA studies at the Faculty of Philosophy in Belgrade, Modern Art History 2004 – PhD research at the Kunsgeschichtliches Institut, University of Freiburg, Germany. His work is based on examination of the relations between personhood and authorship, especially in the postmodern and globalization context. He works in different media: video art, art history and theory, performance, painting, sculpture… He has exhibited art peaces in numerous exhibitions, and has taken part in number of conferences, seminars, round-tables… He has written and published many articles and theoretical texts.
