May 2015[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Cyphoidbomb. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Toonerville Rifa 13, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Diffs: [1][2]

Though it's obvious you have "knowledgefromwhitin", Wikipedia requires that content that is submitted to articles be adequately sourced, which means that the content has been determined by reliable sources to be noteworthy and to be worthy of inclusion. Content about people who have passed has to be pass the notability test. Was this a community leader who was reported on numerous times by the LA Times, or just a random guy who never received press except for his obituary? Too many people come and go from small neighborhoods to warrant full inclusion in an encyclopedia.

Additionally, when we present content of this sort, we have to seriously consider libel concerns. We can't call someone a "shooter" unless we prove that a jury decided he was a shooter, or a murderer or whatever.

Hope that helps to explain our general guidelines, and please note, I'm reverting for policy and guideline reasons, not because I think your intentions were poor, which I do not. I hope the distinction is clear, and if you have any specific questions, please feel free to leave a note here. Regards, Cyphoidbomb (talk) 03:58, 15 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The article Ogbugo Kalu has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Ways to improve Ogbugo Kalu[edit]

Hi, I'm Garagepunk66. KnowledgeFromWithin, thanks for creating Ogbugo Kalu!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. Citations must be added to connect references to corresponding statements in the text.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse. Garagepunk66 (talk) 04:08, 7 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for June 9[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Niger Delta Avengers, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Chevron. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

ArbCom Elections 2016: Voting now open![edit]

Hello, KnowledgeFromWithin. Voting in the 2016 Arbitration Committee elections is open from Monday, 00:00, 21 November through Sunday, 23:59, 4 December to all unblocked users who have registered an account before Wednesday, 00:00, 28 October 2016 and have made at least 150 mainspace edits before Sunday, 00:00, 1 November 2016.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2016 election, please review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 22:08, 21 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
