Läckö Castle Opera article
[edit]Thanks for adding this new article to English Wikipedia! It's very useful. As a longtime member of the Wikipedia:WikiProject Opera, I've made a few minor changes to the list of titles and would ask you to note that we use original titles of operas as they exist in Wiki articles (even though The Marriage of Figaro is under its English rather than Italian title). Who knows why? We also italicize titles. In trying to make the article a little more interesting to read, I've varied the "In 2000", "In 2011" beginnings a bit.
But keep up the good work! All the best from Santa Fe, New Mexico, Viva-Verdi (talk) 22:52, 14 February 2014 (UTC)
Photo Tove Dahlberg
[edit]Hi Klättermusen, you added a nice picture of Tove Dahlberg to her Wikipedia page. Please have a look at [1] to ensure that the photo can be kept on Wikipedia. Buxtehude (talk) 16:33, 31 October 2014 (UTC)
Hi Buxtehude, I just sent an e-mail to Tove Dahlberg and she answered that it's her photo and that she has uploaded it.Klättermusen (talk) 17:52, 31 October 2014 (UTC)
- That's great. At [2] you will find an email-template (also in Swedish). If she would be so kind to send this to [email protected], the process can be concluded. It is a bit of a hassle, but it is essential for the image to be licensed correctly. Buxtehude (talk) 21:05, 31 October 2014 (UTC)
- I will ask Tove to do this. How many days before the photo is actually deleted, i.e. how much time does Tove have to supply the permission? Klättermusen (talk) 07:17, 1 November 2014 (UTC)
- The photo will not be deleted for at least seven days after 31 October. Should it take longer than seven days for the permission to be received the image can always be restored by an administrator if it was deleted in the meantime. Buxtehude (talk) 12:55, 1 November 2014 (UTC)
- The issue seems to have been solved. You may want to have a look at [3], because of an issue with the photos of two other Swedish singers. Buxtehude (talk) 12:01, 10 November 2014 (UTC)
- I'm trying to take care of the issues with the photos of the other Swedish singers, so let's hope for the best. --Klättermusen (talk) 17:39, 10 November 2014 (UTC)
Outside of Sweden?
[edit]Hi, Klättermus, nice work on Adolf Fredrik's Music School! I've done some minor copyediting. There was one thing in the paragraph about the Adolf Fredcrik "fight" that I couldn't find in the source, namely that "The fight gained such a proportion that it was even noted outside of Sweden". Not sure if the sentence was added by you, but all I see in the source is a comment about how "den så kallade AF-striden... väckte nationell uppmärksamhet" (p. 7). Maybe I missed it. I've removed the sentence for now, please put it back if it actually is in the source. Regards, Bishonen | talk 19:32, 27 April 2015 (UTC).
- Hi Bishonen, thanks for the fine copyediting work. I can't find any reference to international attention either, so I guess I must put it down to sloppy reading on my part... What else could be done to move the article up to B-class? It is funny to note that some B-class articles seem much better while others seem a lot worse than this one, so the criteria don't appear to be so straight-forward Klättermusen (talk) 05:16, 28 April 2015 (UTC)
Copying within Wikipedia requires proper attribution
[edit]Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Sparkling wine production into Traditional method. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. The attribution has been provided for this situation, but if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for that duplication. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. — Diannaa (talk) 19:30, 22 May 2016 (UTC)
- Dianna, thanks for making me aware of this. I have now written about the procedure on the talk pages of Sparkling wine production and Traditional method. Is it sufficient or is there anything I should add? --Klättermusen (talk) 05:56, 23 May 2016 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for August 26
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Yoie Bohlin, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Athletics. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

February 2017
[edit]Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give Stora grabbars märke a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.
In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. I have fixed the move for you. Please remember those instructions for next time. Regards SoWhy 11:40, 2 February 2017 (UTC)
- Thanks SoWhy, I wasn't aware of this but I will now remember :-) --Klättermusen (talk) 17:08, 2 February 2017 (UTC)
