Speedy deletion of Adding to wikipedia[edit]

A tag has been placed on Adding to wikipedia, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read our the guidelines on spam as well as the Wikipedia:Business' FAQ for more information.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. CWY2190(talkcontributions) 16:21, 14 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Take a look at the welcome page. To stay in Wikipedia, an article has to be about something notable, that is, of general interest. Click on Notability for an explanation of what that means, and on Notability (people) for more detail. Also, it must give independently verifiable sources. Articles that don't meet these requirements are likely to be deleted.

JohnCD (talk) 16:48, 7 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You should wait for others to write an article about subjects in which you are personally involved. This applies to articles about you, your achievements, your band, your business, your publications, your website, your relatives, and any other possible conflict of interest.

Creating an article about yourself is strongly discouraged. If you create such an article, it might be listed on articles for deletion. Deletion is not certain, but many feel strongly that you should not start articles about yourself. This is because independent creation encourages independent validation of both significance and verifiability. All edits to articles must conform to Wikipedia:No original research, Wikipedia:Neutral point of view, and Wikipedia:Verifiability.

If you are not "notable" under Wikipedia guidelines, creating an article about yourself may violate the policy that Wikipedia is not a personal webspace provider and would thus qualify for speedy deletion. If your achievements, etc., are verifiable and genuinely notable, and thus suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later. (See Wikipedia:Wikipedians with articles.) Thank you. JohnCD (talk) 16:48, 7 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Vandalism[edit]

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Keith Kuder. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you.

Are you really Keith Kuder, or are you someone trying to discredit him? If you are Kuder then I don't think much of your prospects for convincing anyone of your honesty in the future - the edit that you made to the deletion discussion will be accessible online indefinitely for anyone to use against you. Repost of Keith kuder[edit]

A tag has been placed on Keith kuder requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia, because it appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion. If you can indicate how it is different from the previously posted material, place the template {{hangon}} underneath the other template on the article and put a note on the page's discussion page saying why this article should stay. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. If you believe the original discussion was unjustified, please contact the administrator who deleted the page or use deletion review instead of continuing to recreate the page. Thank you. Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Keith kuder has been reverted.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove unwanted links and spam from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. The external links I reverted were matching the following regex rule(s): \btwitter\.com\b (links: http://twitter.com/utah_guru).
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 19:57, 18 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Mr. Kuder: I have read the note you left on the talk page of the above-captioned article, where you ask for an explanation of how your article does not meet the policies of Wikipedia. I believe you are aware of a previous process of deletion, known as articles for deletion or "AfD", that a previous version of this article went through and failed. If your memory needs refreshing, you can find it at this link. According to our policies, if an article has failed an AfD process, which this one has, a recreation which does not differ significantly from the original is subject to immediate deletion. If you believe that, for some reason not immediately apparent to me, your autobiographic article is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, pretty much your only option is to take it through another Wikipedia process called deletion review. By the way, since everyone that works here is a volunteer, no one really has time to take you by the hand and telephone or e-mail you to explain in detail just what's going on here; it's incumbent upon you to take some initiative and learn what Wikipedia policies you've infringed, and how to work within our boundaries. If you truly need help, there are a number of ways for you to obtain it; I suggest you research them. Accounting4Taste:talk 21:48, 18 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Category:Biography articles needing infoboxes[edit]

It was extremely inappropriate for you to recreate your previously deleted autobiography at Category:Biography articles needing infoboxes. If you post the material again on Wikipedia outside of your user space I will block your account for disruption. Consider this a final warning.   Will Beback  talk  23:14, 13 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
