Could you give me some pointers on what I should do to improve the pages notability as I am quite new to Wikipedia.

Which page do you mean? Your First Article is a good place to start (the list of Bad Article Ideas is worth reading, too). Generally, the key to establishing notability is to provide references to reliable sources that are independent of the subject - blogs, myspace etc don't count as reliable because anyone can post there (Wikipedia doesn't count as reliable either, for the same reason), and the subject's own web-site doesn't count as independent. Your username[edit]

I'm not happy about your username. Wikipedia's username policy includes "User accounts must only represent individuals. Sharing an account – or the password to an account – with others is not permitted, and doing so will result in the account being blocked." Your username gives the impression that you represent the school, and if you edit the school's article there will seem to be a conflict of interest and you might be blocked as a "role account." I suggest that you go to WP:CHU and request a change of username; and if there are several of you, you should each set up an individual account. Don't worry - people are encouraged to plunge in and make mistakes. If you waited till you had read all the rules you would never start! One important tip - in conversations on talk pages it helps to know who said what and when, so on talk pages (but not in articles) you should sign your comments by ending them with four "tilde" characters ~~~~, which the system will convert into a "signature" of your username and the time and date - like this: JohnCD (talk) 21:53, 13 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Den of Geek[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Den of Geek, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

I created this page but I feel I won't be able to add content to a satisfactory degree. I will create the page in a sub-page on my account then if its good enough I will re-create the page.

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached.
