I want my page republished
[edit]I spent 3 hours last night creating that page for my Artist name. Everything you saw on there was all factual, no misinformation whatsoever. So please I ask you, put back up my page. I’ll make any small changes to the page if I have to but I want my page back because I spent a lot of time on it making it just for my fans to be able to see it.
Thanks, Robert Harlow 2600:6C5E:97F:4061:E0A6:E376:809E:6D25 (talk) 11:36, 14 November 2022 (UTC)

I’m not “free webhosting” anything. I’m simply trying to create an article so people can learn more information they want about me. It has nothing to do with promotion, advertising, webhosting, etc. 2600:6C5E:97F:4061:573:EF91:FC59:E648 (talk) 17:54, 14 November 2022 (UTC)
- The article you created doesn't come close to meeting our WP:MUSIC notability criteria. OhNoitsJamie Talk 17:59, 14 November 2022 (UTC)
Okay well, can you give me an example or some help on what the article should say for your website. Because this really is important to me. I won’t ask for anything else after this, this is all I want right now. 2600:6C5E:97F:4061:573:EF91:FC59:E648 (talk) 18:01, 14 November 2022 (UTC)
- Please read all the links in the various warnings and info boxes. We've provided you plenty of information on what to do and how to do it. - UtherSRG (talk) 18:15, 14 November 2022 (UTC)
Thank you
[edit]Thank you very much, I appreciate it. I’ll read everything I have to do and I’ll make a better article that fits the guidelines perfectly. 2600:6C5E:97F:4061:573:EF91:FC59:E648 (talk) 18:36, 14 November 2022 (UTC)
- This isn't about making a better article. This is about the subject meeting WP:BIO notability criteria; that is, non-trivial coverage from reliable sources. OhNoitsJamie Talk 21:17, 14 November 2022 (UTC)
I understand
[edit]I’ll check everything once I have finished. I’m sorry if I have been a pain, this is just my first time making a Wikipedia Article. 2600:6C5E:97F:4061:D82D:1B1C:C2AF:EC3C (talk) 23:36, 14 November 2022 (UTC)

Manager of Robert Harlow
[edit]Hello, I am the personal manager for Robert Harlow. I work for a marketing company and I will be in control of Robert’s Wikipedia page. Me and my team will write everything that is needed and will follow any guidelines for the website. 2600:6C5E:97F:4061:D82D:1B1C:C2AF:EC3C (talk) 00:30, 15 November 2022 (UTC)
- Read WP:COI immediately. - UtherSRG (talk) 00:35, 15 November 2022 (UTC)
- Wikipedia has articles on notable subjects, not mere "pages". You will not control this article or any other, because that is simply not how Wikipedia works. Please read all of the links to Wikipedia's policies and procedures linked above before proceeding with any further editing. --Finngall talk 00:42, 15 November 2022 (UTC)
- Basically, the issue is that you can't write an encyclopedia article about yourself or someone are closely connected to. It's not allowed because it is not conducive to independent, impartial, and well-cited content.
- Additionally, you can't manage it like a social media page because other people can and will edit the page. You can't write content from scratch because an article needs to cite independent and reliable sources. You cannot create an encyclopedia article about yourself any more than you can write and publish a news article about yourself in your local newspaper. Frogging101 (talk) 00:53, 15 November 2022 (UTC)
