Speedy deletion nomination of Tom Sherratt[edit]

A tag has been placed on Tom Sherratt requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Status and Advice[edit]

As reviewing administrator, I didn't delete it: saying he's an author of two books is possibly notability by our criteria. Please demonstrate the books are important by adding references to reviews of them--any librarian can help you find them. And then see WP:PROF for our standards for notability of academic faculty, and see if you can revise the article to meet them.
