The Fro
[edit]Hi Kevin,
I can't figure out how to add the "hang on" tag to The Fro page. After you added the candidate for speedy deletion block, I can no longer see the edit link. I'd like to find out when I can expect to be able to add something about The Fro. You are right, in that right now, The Fro is unknown. However I AM printing a graphic novel next year; it's in development right now. If I look up most topics regarding small press comics, like Evil Ernie, this is not a character like Spiderman, yet it is still on Wikipedia. Can you clarify at what point I can start using Wikipedia to document The Fro like they have for Evil Ernie? If I upload pages from the book now and show this is not just some guy in a suit, is that sufficient for me to use Wiki to document the story's and character's existance? If not, where do we draw the line, so that I can know when I AM able to use it?

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a search with the contents of LGV construction (rail), and it appears to be very similar to another Wikipedia page: TGV track construction. It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case. If you are intentionally trying to rename an article, please see Help:Moving a page for instructions on how to do this without copying and pasting. If you are trying to move or copy content from one article to a different one, please see Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia and be sure you have acknowledged the duplication of material in an edit summary to preserve attribution history.
This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 18:17, 17 June 2010 (UTC)

[edit]Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you recently tried to give TGV track construction a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut and paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is needed for attribution and various other purposes. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.
In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page. This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Cut and paste move repair holding pen. Thank you. Discuss Suburban Express on Talk
[edit]You need to discuss your proposed changes on the Talk page before making a wholesale rewrite of an article in ways that significantly favor the article subject and de-emphasize notable criticism. NorthBySouthBaranof (talk) 02:28, 19 May 2013 (UTC)
Conflict of interest
[edit]Hello, KevinCuddeback. We welcome your contributions to Wikipedia, but if you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Leon D. Cuddeback, you may have a conflict of interest or close connection to the subject.
All editors are required to comply with Wikipedia's neutral point of view content policy. People who are very close to a subject often have a distorted view of it, which may cause them to inadvertently edit in ways that make the article either too flattering or too disparaging. People with a close connection to a subject are not absolutely prohibited from editing about that subject, but they need to be especially careful about ensuring their edits are verified by reliable sources and writing with as little bias as possible.
If you are very close to a subject, here are some ways you can reduce the risk of problems:
- Avoid or exercise great caution when editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with.
- Be cautious about deletion discussions. Everyone is welcome to provide information about independent sources in deletion discussions, but avoid advocating for deletion of articles about your competitors.
- Avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).
- Exercise great caution so that you do not accidentally breach Wikipedia's content policies.
Please familiarize yourself with relevant content policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.
For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you. --Orange Mike | Talk 17:55, 24 June 2013 (UTC)
- Thanks. I don't think I have a problem with Leon D. Cuddeback since its more like some people write about trains and some people edit articles on cats. I tend to do planes & trains. In this case, since he just happens to be one of two notable people with the same last name as mine, all I know about him basically comes from reliable sources KevinCuddeback (talk) 13:58, 26 June 2013 (UTC) (My best estimate is that the's a 5th cousin to my great grandfather).

If you have a unique story to share about your contributions, let us know and we can set up an opportunity for you to write a blog post about your work with one of our partner's resources.
Finally, we would greatly appreciate if you filled out this short survey. The survey helps us not only better serve you with facilitating this particular partnership, but also helps us discover what other partnerships and services the Wikipedia Library can offer.

Suburban Express and Dennis Toeppen Articles
[edit]I note that you have been active in editing the Suburban Express article, and that you've made several edits to the Dennis Toeppen article. I read both for the first time in several years this evening. Suburban Express article had devolved into a mess. I did my best to tighten up the language, remove redundancies, and conform to sources. Perhaps you will want to take a pass at it. I also left a message in the talk section of the Dennis Toeppen article. It seems to me that there is not a need for coverage of Suburban Express litigation on the founder's wiki page.
