Welcome![edit]

Hello, Keeleduck, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of your recent edits did not conform to Wikipedia's verifiability policy, and may have been removed. Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations that have been stated in print or on reputable websites or in other media. Always remember to provide a reliable source for quotations and for any material that is likely to be challenged, or it may be removed. Wikipedia also has a related policy against including original research in articles.

If you are stuck and looking for help, please see the guide for citing sources or come to the new contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask a question on your talk page. Again, welcome.  GirthSummit (blether) 15:31, 26 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

FIBC Discharger moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, FIBC Discharger, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. The notice says "does not have enough sources and citations as written" but the truth is, with only one source, and that from a company which sells product hoppers, it looks pretty damn close to an advert and would be deleted as such if you can't add reliable, verifiable, independent sources which show why product hoppers are notable. Hope that helps, Cabayi (talk) 12:40, 1 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Managing a conflict of interest[edit]

Information icon Hello, Keeleduck. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Also please note that editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Two of your submissions have been sourced by pages on Gough Engineering's website and were for products that they sell. It's not an unreasonable conclusion that you may be an employee. Request reason:

I would first and foremost like to apologize for any breeches of the Wikipedia user agreement, I am a diagnosed dyslexic with learning difficulties, this has created issues as I was unaware of my talk page. In addition to this I also was not aware my language came across that way. I am passionate about all aspects of engineering and would like to continue research and sharing it with others. It would be greatly appreciated if I could be allowed too make edits and I will carefully review all aspects to ensure I do not breech any aspects of the agreement again.

Decline reason:

You had three unblock requests open. One at a time, please. Only one open unblock request at a time. You are indicating that you have been diagnosed with an issue which causes you to advertise and abuse multiple accounts. As such, we can not unblock you. Furthermore, you are not eligible for unblock consideration on this account, only on your original account. Yamla (talk) 13:50, 1 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

I've never heard of dyslexia causing advertising, & the use of multiple accounts accounts before. Cabayi (talk) 13:16, 1 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

{{unblock|reason=I was not aware the language using came across as advertising, I have to slowly develop pages due to this combined with other medical conditions I current have. In addition I do not have multiple accounts.}}

...other than GoughEngUK who you have been linked to? Cabayi (talk) 13:24, 1 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

{{unblock|reason=Unklereemus, I have a word document with a variety of google scholar references etc I am yet to add I am slowly getting through it as I cannot be at a screen for too long}}
