Articles I am interested in
[edit]- RWBY -- This one might be do-able, as long as you understand that it is a pretty highly-trafficked article. But I do see some manageable stuff to do, but you'll want to interface with existing editors and document yourself well.
- Sailor Moon -- this one, on the other hand, is not something I think you should take on. The article has a long history, including a lot of debate over how it should look and what should be here. I just don't think you'll have enough time to interface with this conversation.
- Gas Stove-- would have been a good choice, but it has been chosen as the article of the week's article for improvement. This may not fix everything but let's go ahead and pass it over.
- Retractable Pen [3] -- an interesting find, but this one is sparse on information. The pen clicking section is strange, but if you toss it...what will be left to work with? Hardly anything.
- Dress Code [4] -- This one is a very good choice. All the tags in here are very old. You could come in and do some vetting of what has been done in the last ten years and hopefully leave it in pretty good shape.

Articles I have chosen to edit
[edit]Summary
[edit]The audience and the purpose of this article are very unclear as of right now, but I believe it could be helpful for people to know, say if they were visiting a new country or area. That being said the article focus way too much on the western view of dress code and would not be helpful for people going to other countries. The purpose of this article is to provide relevant info about dress code and it's social implications.
Work that needs to be done
[edit]A lot of work is needed in this article. It seems a while back ago someone named Patrick sort of took the page hostage and refused to let anyone make any decent edits as he was blinded by his own biases, which can be seen by the huge argument on the talk page. That said the article needs a lot of work. Lots of citations need, the lead is very sloppy and can be reworked. There are a number of organizational things, lots of reworking for tone and quality of many sections, specifically the sections called violations of clothing taboos and rebellion against dress codes. The article seems to have become active again for some reason so I will probably have to communicate to the new editors who are now watching and editing the page.
Summary
[edit]This article is part of a series on musical instruments. The audience is very clear, the article is directed at those who would like to know more about instruments and their history as well as the sound they produce and the music they make. The purpose of the article is to make sure people understand the oboe and its history and the many forms it has.
Work that needs to be done
[edit]This article doesn't need as much work as my other one, but some work is required. The lead has repeating information and can be reworked. Some citation is needed for a few things. Overall the article organization can be reworked, some sections can be split in two because they talk about two different things. a section needs to be created for the American oboe versus the Uk and Ireland oboe, this goes with my earlier comment. This page is also pretty active so I will have to communicate and work with the other editors who are watching and editing the page. Kayla Andr. (talk) 22:26, 2 March 2019 (UTC)
