Miss Asia Pacific World 2011

[edit]

Hi, I would suggest that if you further want to continue to delete sourced information on the article Miss Asia Pacific World 2011, then please bring your concerns up on the discussion page before you do anything further. The article is currently protected and I think you have some connection to the pageant, considering your discussion page comment about jealous contestants etc....--BabbaQ (talk) 21:41, 24 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Considering that I have done exactly what you are proposing, long before you proposed it and with extensive reference to Wikipedia's standards, your suggestion is nothing short of preposterous. Kanovski (talk) 10:29, 25 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Miss Asia Pacific World 2011

[edit]

I am not going to be involved in this dispute, sorry. Alexandria (talk) 13:26, 26 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Alexandria, The "dispute" that you seem to be referring to originated in October 2011. I requested information about updating an outdated template from February 2011, in order to help with Wikipedia's cleanup efforts. If I have mistaken your role and purposes at Wikipedia, then of course I am sorry for any inconvenience. Kanovski (talk) 08:07, 27 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry

[edit]

Hi, I'm sorry for being suspicious to you. I have remove the section so the bad things about you won't spread. Also, it was unproven that the IP addresses who made vandalisms in the page was you, so you don't have to be worried. I do not own the Miss Asia Pacific World 2011 article as my page, I just protect it to prevent vandalisms in the page. As a Wikipedian, I have right to protect a page from vandalisms or disruptive edits, that's it. No more argument anymore, peace. :) DeshintaChandra (talk) 13:46, 4 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Kanovski, you need to realise that attacking other users for being protective of an controversial article isnt in your interest. If you do anything similar I will certainly report you. Be sure of that. Desintachandra and my worries was justified by previous edits from you, but as it was proven you wasnt involved in what I suspected I will let it go. From now on behave. Thanks.--BabbaQ (talk) 15:23, 4 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
DeshintaChandra, We are good. Apology accepted. Let's finish improving the article to the best of our abilities (so that I can move on to copy-editing other articles). I never want to leave things half-done. --Kanovski (talk) 11:58, 5 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

All right, to prevent this thing happen again, I have removed both you and BabbaQ's message in my talk page. From now on, let us just stop discussing about this thing, if we keep talking about this, I'm afraid that a bigger problem will happen. Sorry for my behavior. DeshintaChandra (talk) 13:20, 5 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

After this thing happened, I have learned my lessons that I promise I won't do the same mistake anymore. I also will tell BabbaQ to stop discussing about this anymore, so there will be no other problems anymore with us. DeshintaChandra (talk) 13:37, 5 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  • I recommend that all parties discuss article edits on the talkpage of the article, as using user talk pages can become pointy very quickly, whereas if the article talkpage is used, other editors have the opportunity to comment also, and a consensus can be determined. A good copy editor helps an article reach a higher standard, if the copy edit has accidentally changed the meaning significantly, this should be discussed calmly as it is usually a good faith error (I've done it myself). --Elen of the Roads (talk) 13:40, 5 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
