Hi, there were two main problems.
- as you suggest, the language was not neutral and encyclopaedic. Just looking at the first sentence — The Desert Dash is a unique Time, Speed, Distance (TSD) event spread over 4 days that combines the thrill of motorsports with the luxury of fine, hand-picked hotels in Rajasthan, India. — it reads as if it's from a travel agent's brochure, not an encyclopaedia.
- The article did not provide independent verifiable sources to enable us to verify the facts and show that the event meets the notability guidelines. References to hard copies of reputable magazines, national newspapers an such are fine, but should give enough detail to enable verification (date of issue, author, page numbers etc.
