Welcome to Wikipedia![edit]

Hello KBecks, welcome to Wikipedia!

Here are some tips:

If you feel a change is needed, feel free to make it yourself! Wikipedia is a wiki, so anyone (yourself included) can edit any article by following the Edit this page link. Wikipedia convention is to be bold and not be afraid of making mistakes. If you're not sure how editing works, have a look at How to edit a page, or try out the Sandbox to test your editing skills.

If, for some reason, you are unable to fix a problem yourself, feel free to ask someone else to do it. Wikipedia has a vibrant community of contributors who have a wide range of skills and specialties, and many of them would be glad to help. As well as the wiki community pages there are IRC Channels, where you are more than welcome to ask for assistance.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask me on my talk page. Thanks and happy editing, Alf 14:26, 27 August 2005 (UTC).[reply]

I was interested in how you were doing, and compared your edits in the history page, you're a beaut', welcome onboard. click here to edit this section - you might find that formula useful in some places. Alf 19:59, 27 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I re-formatted your comment in Talk:Abortion#KBecks.2C_a_new_user.2C_has_a_Question.3F -WELCOME to Wiki[edit]

KBecks, I put your comments in abortion talk at the bottom -you can use the plus sign link at top to do this. See the abortion talk page's table of contents and edit history and the text at the very bottom: Also, you can use "edit->find on page" to look for text, like your name or something.

I re-formatted your comment in abortion -WELCOME to Wiki - the only (major) drawbacks are lack of paycheck for this work, lol, and the edit arguments that sometimes occur, --all the same --enjoy. Take care,--GordonWattsDotCom 05:19, 28 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

PS: I agree - this procedre -and actually all abortions -aren't "minor."--GordonWattsDotCom 05:21, 28 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for Image:Belling press photo.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Belling press photo.jpg. Wikipedia gets hundreds of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 14:05, 5 July 2006 (UTC)

SuggestBot picks articles in a number of ways based on other articles you've edited, including straight text similarity, following wikilinks, and matching your editing patterns against those of other Wikipedians. It tries to recommend only articles that other Wikipedians have marked as needing work. Your contributions make Wikipedia better -- thanks for helping.

If you have feedback on how to make SuggestBot better, please tell me on SuggestBot's talk page. Thanks from ForteTuba, SuggestBot's caretaker.

P.S. You received these suggestions because your name was listed on the SuggestBot request page. If this was in error, sorry about the confusion. -- SuggestBot 03:00, 15 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
