April 2024

Information icon Please do not use styles that are nonstandard, unusual, inappropriate or difficult to understand in articles, as you did in Jade Cargill. There is a Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. Thank you. Mann Mann (talk) 01:12, 1 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Every other wrestler has the same opening line. "He/she is currently signed to WWE, where he/she performs on the Raw/Smackdown/NXT brand." The Cargill article makes no sense with its style. JustTrying234 (talk) 01:19, 1 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Not really. All those articles violate MOS and they should be corrected. We remove current/currently per WP:MOS, MOS:CURRENT, and MOS:REALTIME. Plus there is a consensus to include "As of". See Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Professional wrestling/Archive 112#Result: Removing current and currently. --Mann Mann (talk) 01:25, 1 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Well you better get cracking at fixing that then. Otherwise Jade's article looks out of place compared to literally everybody else. JustTrying234 (talk) 05:55, 1 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
See WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS. Just because many articles have the same issue, it does not mean we should bring that issue to the clean ones too. I only edit articles in my watchlist. There are already several articles that use the new format; e.g. Kazuchika Okada, Eddie Kingston, Roxanne Perez, Bianca Belair, and some others. If the existence of "currently" is your concern, you can help by replacing it with the new format. But as I said, I only patrol, watch, and edit a few articles. --Mann Mann (talk) 09:48, 1 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited List of prematurely reported obituaries, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page ABC News. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
