Hi Joseph. If you're still living in Fort Wayne, you might want to take another photograph of that great Little Turtle statue. The current image is very much out of focus. Kilsoquah

Timeline of the Hellenic Army

'if you listen to Greek chant, the word-final & initial e are often elided' - actually that's not the only elision that occurs in Greek Chant. the 'le-i' often becomes sort of one and a half syllables, sometimes a diphthong. on the other hand, if one listens to English choirs singing mass settings, there seems to be a huge variety in how many syllables 'eleison' gets.
