Policies and guidelines[edit]

Regarding your email message to me regarding the article Yakhiel Sabzanov; you wrote: "As the creator of the page I would appreciate if you stop revising my edits. The edits I make are on behalf of Yakhiel Sabzanovs family. Please respect my edits. Thank you". Please read the policy WP:OWN.

The edits I made a) restored an English caption inline with the general principle that the English Wikipedia is written in English; b) followed the guideline at MOS:SURNAME where it says, After the initial mention, a person should generally be referred to by surname only. My other edits involved the proper listification of a list, adding a link for a NYT author, correction of some URLs, removing some unwarranted capital letter, and similar matters governed by Wikipedia's Manual of Style.

Given your edit history, you might want to read WP:COI and take appropriate action. I also recommend you read MOS:SECTIONCAPS.
