Greetings. Some notes regarding procedure:

  • You did not follow the full process for completing this nomination. Firstly, the discussion page needed to be created including the {{afd2}} template, which adds several important links that are helpful to anyone evaluating the article (especially a link back to the article itself). This also makes the page visible to bots which track such things. Secondly, the page was never transcluded to a daily log page for the viewing of those editors who spend a lot of time evaluating AfD nominations in general. If I had not fixed these things, it's possible that nobody would have noticed your actions at all. If you wish to nominate other articles for deletion, please fully follow the process at WP:AFDHOWTO.
  • Assuming you're the same person as the IPs who placed the tag originally and then replaced it after I deleted it: While is it true that one should absolutely not remove an AfD tag while a discussion is ongoing, it is perfectly appropriate to revert a tag if no other followup has been done, as was the case originally. I have nothing against anonymous IPs nominating articles for deletion--indeed, I have personally completed nominations on behalf of several IP editors, regardless of my opinions on the merits of the action, but I simply cannot do so if the IP has not provided a justification (any at all) on the article talk page which I can copy to the AfD discussion page.

None of this has anything to do with the merits of either the nomination or of the article itself--indeed, it looks to me as if the article should be deleted, though I'll refrain from offering my opinion on the other page until I've had time to look into it more deeply. I'm just trying to ensure that all of the i's are dotted and t's crossed with respect to the procedure as a whole. I came to this page originally via a bot-curated page which tracks potential problems with AfDs. I also track a page which lists various requests which are over a month old--I regularly find incomplete AfD nominations like yours there after they've been sitting around for 30 days.

Anyway, I hope that all of this isn't frustrating. Please feel free to ask questions. Thank you for your contributions, and happy editing! --Finngall talk 16:21, 29 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
