Welcome[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Take a look at the welcome page. To stay in Wikipedia, an article has to be about something notable, that is, of general interest. Click on Notability for an explanation of what that means, and on Notability (people) for more detail. Also, it must be verifiable from reliable sources that are independent of the subject. Articles that don't meet these requirements are likely to be deleted.

Your article Gabriel Akon[edit]

Hi. You will see from the links in the Welcome paragraph above that one of Wikipedia's key content policies is Verifiability: if you read that policy, you will see that it goes so far as to say: "The threshold for inclusion in Wikipedia is verifiability, not truth". I have spent some time searching, but I can find nothing to confirm what your article says. Unless you can provide some references to reliable sources (which excludes sites like Myspace where anyone can post what he likes), your article is likely to be nominated for deletion. Proposed deletion of Gabriel Akon[edit]

The article Gabriel Akon has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

almost certain hoax, searches find no confirmation, see talk page.
